It's a snug fit, but made of a thick material that smooths out the unforgiving areas. As I'm fairly short (5'2), I was worried that tea-length would wind up as a weird maxi, but I was pleasantly surprised it hit a little below mid-calf (as pictured on the model.) The built-in padding fit a little strangely, but nothing that some fashion tape couldn't fix. Highly recommend!

I wore this dress to a formal black tie gala and it was perfect - it's understated and classy, but at the same time fun and interesting with the asymmetrical hem and unique back (which by the way isn't entirely open, the design is sewn into a mesh-type material). The material is heavy but forgiving, making it very comfortable and flattering (and doesn't wrinkle!). I'd definitely rent this again!

I'd definitely recommend renting this dress - exactly what you see in the picture here is what you get, it's a little shapeless but that's how it looks on the model anyway. The bright cobalt blue is gorgeous (makes you look tanner, too) and it's super comfortable and easy to dress up or down for whatever occasion.

I wore this dress to a gala event that I was working at, and it was the perfect mix of classy and flattering while still being work appropriate. It worked wonderfully with a big necklace- I got a ton of compliments! It is a little too low in the back to wear a bra, just to keep in mind.

I rented the dress for a formal work function, mainly because I was so in love with the draped back. I loved it overall, but beware of a few things- you cannot wear a bra with this due to the thin material, and watch out if you have any curves (unlike the display model) because it tends to fit a little differently, tighter at the hips and butt area and doesn't accentuate a small waist at all. The belt is also not sewn in place, so depending on how you tie it the dress can lay in different ways. I'd probably suggest this dress more for girls with narrow figures.
