I wore this for an outdoor shower on one of the hottest days of the summer. It stayed crisp and pretty all day. The dress is very flattering and the skirt leaves room for extra cake. It's long and the top isn't cut low so you can wear a regular bra with it. It's gradma approved and yet still fun.

This is a fun, interesting dress. I ordered the 4 and 6 and ended up wearing the 6, which just fit. I would recommend ordering up for your back-up size. Other reviewers have mentioned it's short...I'm pretty short and it was short on me. I took a cue from another reviewer and wore black tights and fun Mary Jane heels and then added a flowered head band--it ended up being a cute look. The black tights kept me from feeling too exposed, especially when I sat down. Another upside was being able to wear a regular bra. I ended up wearing a Spanx top with built in bra, which gave me a smooth, bulge free back, as the fabric is pretty see through. I'd highly recommend the dress for a party or wedding.

This was my back-up dress, but I had a weekend-long event with several opportunities to wear a pretty dress so I got to wear both dresses. This dress was sturdy and comfortable. It hit just above my knee and felt comfortable through the waist and hips. The neckline is extremely low and I felt like I was showing a lot more cleavage than I generally feel comfortable showing. It was okay at the event I was at, but if it was a "family show" I would have felt awkward. The dress was in great shape and didn't appear like it had ever been worn. Great for a cocktail party or semi-formal event.

The dress is a striking blue color and very flattering. I got compliments on it all evening. I am quite busty and I often have trouble finding a dress that isn't too revealing on top. The belted waist is a really beautiful detail and it tied in my sparkly earrings and shoes perfectly. The dress was also great because I could wear a regular bra with it and it wasn't too low cut. I was fine through the hips, but there truly is no give so I would say to order a size up for your alternate size just in case.
