I am a bit on the long-waisted side and the bottom of the bodice hit on my ribcage instead of beneath it at my waist, ie the smallest part of my midsection so it wasn't very flattering. It also looked too unsophisticated, for lack of a better word. Not that it isn't cute, but that I'm prob a bit too old (40) for it. It felt/looked too princess-y. I ended up not wearing the dress to the event. Wasn't the right dress for me. Also, some reviews said it was way too long. The Size 6 was long on me - I would have had to wear high heeled shoes, but the Size 8 was almost too short. It was perfect with sandals (for beach wedding), but would have been too short with heels. Odd.

I wore this to a wedding and got compliments all night. It *is* form fitting - I highly recommend spanx. I put that it runs a bit small b/c I would not have wanted it much tighter than the M (I usually wear a 4). I didn't get the S so I don't know how that would have fit me. And ditto the other reviewers - you need double-sided tape to make sure things stay in check. The belt was not sent with the dress, but it looked great without a belt. The top is super flattering from the front and back. The only thing I might change is the length. The photo is accurate. It hits just below the knee. It didn't look bad, but if I owned it, I'd probably hem it shorter. Just a heads up if you're on the shorter side or have short legs... Overall, great dress!

Gorgeous dress, gorgeous color, super sexy but not too revealing. I wish I could keep this dress. I got so many compliments on it & I felt (and looked) like a million bucks. It is very form fitting, yet the material has some stretch/give. After reading the other reviews, I decided to get it in M and get the L as backup. The website said the L was unavailable, but when I received the package, they sent the L instead of the M. BUT it ended up being a good thing. The L was very formfitting. Not sure I would have been able to zip the M as it is superfitted. The M would probably not work for you if you are large chested. I am small chested & the L fit perfectly.

Pretty dress, just a bit too juvenile and gauzy for the formal winter wedding I attended (I'm 38). This was my "second look" so I ended up wearing the other dress instead. I rented the 2L (b/c the 2R was unavailable) and it was very long. I am 5'8 and it would have really dragged on the floor with anything less than 4" heels. I could definitely see wearing this to a spring/summer wedding with a high strappy heel, though.
