This dress runs fairly true to size in the body. As I have not worn this designer before, I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. For someone who is tall, I would recommend going with a size in long, although be forewarned that there is about a five inch difference between a regular and a long dress. The regular came to my ankles and even with ballet flats, it was too short as the entire shoe showed. As a result, I went with the long with my tallest heels. While I felt like a princess (and would rent this dress again in a heartbeat or buy it outright!), the long is VERY long! Even with 4 inch heels, it still dragged. If I owned it, I would have had it altered by an inch or more. It really is a fairytale dress!

I rented this dress as a backup, and really did like it! The color is even prettier in person and the dress itself is quite comfortable and looks beautiful on. It does run small, and if you are planning on dancing, I would recommend another dress as it is very difficult to raise your arms given the placement and lack of give to the shoulder straps. As a result, I did not wear this dress, even though I liked how it looked on.

This dress is absolutely stunning and is beautifully made! However, it is huge. I normally wear an 8 to 10 in dresses, depending on the designer. The 48L was the only available option for my rental dates, so I took a chance. Fortunately I had a backup dress in my closet as the dress was a solid two sizes too large. In the correct size, this dress would have been stunning!
