Not the best on fair skin
This dress looks much better on the model than me! For starters, I should've sized down 2 sizes — classic Madewell large fit. I just don't think the color does much for my pale skin, I kind of just look like I'm wearing a wrinkly tan sack. Fair skinned girlies, be ware.

I wanted to love this dress
This dress has so much potential. Thick, slimming fabric, really nips you at the waist. The shoulders had a little gapping for me, which happens in most dresses and shirts. I probably could've fit in a 2. But the pocket design is SO BAD. The pockets don't sit flat and bunch up at your hips, which ruins the silhouette and the whole dress. Poor design.

Distinctive, flirty cocktail dress
I LOVED this dress and would keep it if I had more occasions to wear it! Received tons of compliments. The bright red and fuchsia, plus the pattern and texture, is really distinctive. The dress worked well for a wedding welcome cocktail hour. I would've liked to try on a six — the dress definitely dug into my ribs by the end of the night and required a squeeze to zip up.

I loved these earrings with an updo for a wedding. Comfortable, lightweight, modern and still showed up in pictures. I'd keep these if I had more occasions to wear them!

I wanted to love this dress! The color is fun and the material is so smooth and silky (comes wrinkly, to be expected). But the slit was a bit high for a formal southern wedding, and the dress was tighter in the midsection than felt particularly flattering. My biggest knock on the dress is that one strap is adjustable, and the other isn't! I would've had to get creative with a front pin situation to keep it from sagging in a way that detracts from the fun draping.

Princessy formal dress
Beautiful dress, just wore something else I liked even better to a black tie wedding. As other reviewers note, the gold shows up more in person. Love that the straps are adjustable but the 4 was quite tight around the stomach/ribs and wouldn't have been super comfy for me to dance or eat dinner in. Color isn't the most flattering on us fair-skinned girlies.
