Classic piece
This jacket made me feel elegant around town in NY and overseas in Seoul, Tokyo and Osaka. In fact, camel coats like this were exactly what stylish women were wearing in Korea and Japan. The only downside is that there are no pockets (can't figure out the point of that).

Gorgeous coat--but wait
The coat offers chic, sleek tailoring and rich wool but caveat emptor: there are no pockets and the front buttons are cheaply sewn on and popped off. Despite the saying, folks don't like to [have their buttons] pop off!

This dress runs large--but in 96-degree heat and 95% humidity, is this such a bad thing? I wore this to a late morning/early afternoon wedding on a yacht in Chicago. It worked perfectly in terms of length and give and was a seamless fashion segue from morning to nighttime cocktails in the Windy City.

This dress is stunning. Keep in mind however, that in extreme heat (and the subsequent bloat), this dress can cling a bit. I normally wear a size 6 in this style of dress. During a major heatwave in Chicago, where I wore this, it clung in some parts and got that slight crinkly effect. The style is fab, however.

While I was flattered that the folks at Shoshanna think I'm a size 6, my curves are more Christina Hendricks than Brooke Shields. Nonetheless, the dress is an ethereal way to feel like a Greek goddess on a steamy summer evening. It breathes well and the empire waist allows for breezes and a graceful way to hide PMS tummy pudge. An all-around win.
