Gorgeous dress!
I felt incredible in this dress! I got so many compliments! Loved the color, shape, the velvet, the slit -- SO GOOD. I wore this to a premiere of short films which is basically the Met Gala for film students, and I felt sexy and stood out. The wiring of the top part started to poke me underneath the armpit which is not ideal but didn't ruin my opinion of the dress. The top had like a grippy lining which helped it stay up. I didn't have a problem with it riding down throughout the night. Huge fan. Highly recommend.

Obsessed! So many compliments!
One of my favorite rentals ever! I wore it to the "Senior Toast" to celebrate graduating seniors from my university. I wanted to wear something bright, playful, and fun, and this was perfect. Such a simple and classic shape and cut but so fun! I've seriously never gotten so many compliments. Highly recommend. It was quite short, but I didn't mind. If I were to buy this, I'd want it to be a little bit longer and maybe have a little more give around the ribcage.

Top fit well but too short
I took a chance on this even though others said it was really short, but man this was basically a long shirt. It's so cute and I loved the fit of the top half. Recommend for people shortly than me at least (5'6"). Gave it 4 stars since I did wear it and make it work but wore spandex underneath

Gorgeous color and fun to wear!
If you don't want to get noticed this is not the dress for you! The color is stunning and the cut is fitted without being tight. The dramatic bell sleeves add a lot of fun, but are just shy of the wrist so you can actually eat without the sleeves getting in the way. I'm 5'4" so it wore as a mini dress but not super short. The sleeves fit a little tight and I'm pretty trim, and the fabric is not all that stretchy. Overall, I LOVED this dress and got so many compliments!

You guys, this dress has POCKETS!!
Wore this to a black-tie-optional ball and LOVED it! The nautical stripes are so unique and the dress has just the perfect bit of shimmer to it, which you can't really see in the photo. I'm 5'4", so I had to wear my tallest heels and it was still just a wee smidge long, but not a problem at all. Plus, POCKETS!! Big enough to hold a lipstick and a little money, or just find a place for your hands when you find yourself standing around for a minute. My only complaint is that the waist (where the two directions of stripes meet) is tight. I was ready to take it off by the end of the night. Also, the fabric is heavy, so you get hot while dancing or in a crowded room, but not too bad. Overall, I felt like a million bucks, no one else had a dress like it and I got several compliments!
