This dress does NOT work if you have any hips at all. My hips are not even big, but it made the wrap cause the slit to be at my crotch. Had to find a backup to wear to the wedding because both sizes I rented (true to my normal size and a size up) were too scandalous to wear.

This dress was so perfect for a black tie optional wedding! The 0 and the 2 fit me well, but I went with the 2 just because the slit went a little high for me on the 0. I’m short, but the length of the dress was perfect. I also love the shape of the dress because it was very forgiving around the belly area while accentuating my waist! It was light and breathable and comfortable all night even with lots of dancing. Would consider even buying this dress as a staple for these types of events.
