Classic with a twist
I would have worn this to our event, but we wound up having to cancel our plans that night. So I can't say how it held up over several hours of wear, but I liked how it fit when I tried it on. Classic strapless silhouette, but the one-arm off-the-one-shoulder contrast helps to modernize it a bit. A bright but true red. This would go a lot of places! Fit me well through the waist with a little shapewear thrown in. Skirt is forgiving and twirly, so that was fun.

Draping was odd
I loved the idea of this dress, and I thought I might have some luck with it because of my curves, but the drape of this dress wound up making me look utterly shapeless - I wound up looking like a stout silver pole. I did not try a different size, so perhaps a smaller size would have worked better.

Big and beautiful
These were fun! They are clip-on, and I worried that they would slide off, due to their weight. But they are not as heavy as they look, and they stayed on really well through a night of dancing. They are definitely big, but they get away with that by keeping the design simple. I paired them with the green, strapless, pleated Amur dress for a formal event, and they worked perfectly together.

"Grace Kelly"
So so so fun to wear! The color, the flow, the ruffles. And the drape and flow of that skirt almost require dancing/twirling. This dress is elegant with a touch of whimsy. Someone said I was "channeling Grace Kelly", and I cannot think of a higher compliment. I absolutely loved wearing it. I have rented and loved many RTR dresses, but this one beats all! And I am seriously considering buying it. My pics from the event didn't do it justice, so I tried to get one in my mirror at home, sitting down, to capture some of the flow of that amazing skirt. The dress stayed up better than most strapless dresses do on me, which really made a difference on the dance floor. The light boning around the bust is helpful, although I needed some extra support (I almost always do, so I was prepared for that). I was worried that the ruching around the middle would just add bulk where I need it least (I am short-waisted and a little thicker at the waist than I would like), but with a little shapewear underneath it looked great. It is surprisingly comfortable - not too tight, not too loose. The ruffles at the top even help hide the spillover that inevitably happens in every strapless dress I have ever worn. If I were to buy it, I would probably have it hemmed to be a little bit shorter (I am borderline petite so it hit at my ankles) and I think the proportions would work slightly better if the skirt was shorter on me. But I wouldn't change a single other thing.

Elegant, glamourous, AND comfortable!
I loved wearing this dress! My pic doesn't do it justice. First, I agree with other reviewers that the color is more green than teal, but it's a saturated jewel tone and gorgeous. Second, the fit is very comfortable. I am a new mom, with a five-month-old as of this writing, and I needed a dress with a little forgiveness around the belly and bust areas. After reading the other reviews on here I ordered sizes 6 and 8, and the 8 fit perfectly. It is snug through the waist, as others have noted, but that's what Spanx are for! It also fit my post-partum bust (which is up 2 sizes) very well - there was just a tiny bit of gaping near the neckline, but it was so minimal as to be easily ignored, and might have been solvable with a different bra. Added bonus: the high neckline hides scratches from baby fingernails (or cats) quite well! The structured material (no stretch) did a nice job of smoothing and containing. The length is definitely long - I am 5'4" and with 4" heels on the skirt just grazed the ground. I received several compliments, and would both recommend and rent this dress again! In a sea of black and busy patterns, the color and elegant simplicity of this dress made it stand out.

Sophisticated and sparkly
These were the back-ups to the back-ups, when my original choice wasn't available, but I wound up loving them! I normally prefer dangling/drop earrings to pair with an evening gown, but these paired beautifully with the high-necked emerald-green dress I wore to a black-tie optional party. Because the dress was simple, the sophisticated design of these earrings "added interest" (as my mom noted). They were also lighter-weight than many of the drop earrings I have rented from RTR, making them easier to wear through a fun and activity-filled evening (photo booths, face painting, dance floor, etc.). I wore my hair back to show them off better, but failed to get a good pic of these at the event, or with the dress, so I snapped this after I got home. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because they are slightly awkward to get on - the back tip of the earring seemed determined to slide up behind my ear lobe. But once they were on properly, they stayed put and needed no fussing. I highly recommend them when a little sophisticated sparkle is called for!

Sparkly & fun
I'm a fan! I've rented Oscar de la Renta drop earrings before, and loved them. These were no exception. The stones were somewhere between gold and blush, making them an almost-perfect neutral - they should go with almost everything. They're a bit heavy, like other drop earrings, but totally wearable. And they stayed on through a night of dancing. My earlobes were a bit sore by the end of the night, but that's to be expected with heavy earrings. I recommend them, and I would rent them again!

"Nobody puts Baby in a corner."
Great for dancing! The full skirt twirls beautifully and was so much fun to wear on the dance floor. But a full skirt is a full skirt, so if you're going dancing you might want to wear a slip - or undies you want to show off! Fit was pretty true to size - I went with the smaller size (6) which is my usual size, because the overall fit was better than my back-up size (8). Like other reviewers, I had gaping at the armpit (despite a tight fit in the bust), so I just twisted the straps over on themselves once, and that ate up all of the excess material. It changed the look of the bodice slightly, but it worked perfectly, was comfortable, and I thought it looked cute (you can view my pic and judge for yourself!). The twisted straps stayed put all night, but double-sided tape would likely keep them in place, if needed. Due to the tight waist, I recommend a smoothing undergarment to help keep the material from bunching up. And the bust is designed to show cleavage, so I used a plunging bra, and that stayed well-hidden. Overall, I loved it, I recommend it, and I would rent it again (especially for dancing!).

Perfect dress for dancing!
I wore this to a Gala and enjoyed it. The color made it stand out, and the high-low hem made it easy to dance in, despite the weight of the dress. It runs a little small - I had to size up, and even then it was small in the bust. The hem has some stiff material that gives it shape and volume - that's great for the look, but it wrinkled and warped in transit, so I had to iron it pretty thoroughly before wearing. I would definitely warn other renters that ironing will be necessary for this dress! The length turned out to be great for me - I'm 5'4" and was worried I'd be stepping all over the back hem because the dancing was ballroom-style - but with heels on, the back hem just cleared the floor. Admittedly, it was pretty obvious to me that this dress has seen a lot of love - there were some frayed edges, the hem seems to be permanently (though only slightly) warped in some places, and there are a couple of small dark stains on the inside of the dress near the back hem, which could have been visible due to the high-low hem. But I don't think anyone noticed them. After ironing, the dress looked fine on, and it served its purpose very well, so I'm not complaining. Overall, I would definitely consider renting it again.

Wore these for my wedding. With flowers in my hair and these earrings, I didn't need a necklace! :)
These were lovely. I was hesitant to pair them with my wedding dress, but they worked perfectly - and the pink in the stones even picked up the pink in the flowers I wore in my hair (in lieu of a veil). They stayed put for 14 hours (clip-ons) that day! They are awesome statement earrings! (Picture by Kina Wicks Photography)

Wore these to my rehearsal dinner!
Loved these earrings - they went perfectly with the champagne-colored Allison Parrish dress I rented for the same occasion. The color of the stone seems more "taupe" than "gold" to me, but it's beautiful either way. They are large (see the pic), and a little heavy (my ears hurt the next day), but they stay put (they were clip-ons) and were fun to wear!

Wore these to a family dinner - loved the navy blue color and design!
Gorgeous statement drop earrings. The only drawback was their weight - they are large and heavy, and one of the pads fell out (they were clip-ons). After that, the earring wouldn't stay on my ear, due the weight. But they were lovely and fun to wear!

Wore it to our rehearsal dinner - it felt very "bridal", and that tulle skirt was so fun!
My only true problem with this dress was the zipper. I hope it was just a fluke with my particular dress, but my zipper kept splitting open from the middle, like the teeth weren't aligned properly. My friend came to my rescue with a handful of safety pins, and she "MacGyver'd" it to stay shut. The pins were visible (see the second pic), but I thought it just added "edge" to the dress, and I rolled with it. More importantly, I stopped flashing our guests! :) This dress is genuinely true to size - I wore the 8R, but actually could have used a 6R (my regular size). The 8 was a little loose through the bust and waist, but the boning helped keep the dress up! It was a little long in the waist for me (I am slightly short-waisted anyway) so the back tended to buckle (see second pic). Color is much darker than shown on RTR's site - more champagne than ivory, but still pretty. As others have noted, the tulle skirt is also somewhat sheer, and the silk skirt underneath fits like a mini dress - it came to mid-thigh on me. The high-low hem is fun, but the back on the 8R did drag slightly on the ground, even with 3-inch heels on (I'm 5'4"), so I'm glad I didn't have to dance in it - but people did step on it twice during a cocktail hour. Lucky it didn't rip! Overall, I loved this dress, enjoyed wearing it, and got a ton of compliments. I also paired it with a pair of taupe drop Oscar de La Renta earrings from RTR, and loved how the two went together.
