Loved the color and the dress was super flattering for those trying to conceal a tummy or hips. Length worked ok with 3" heels. The top does run large so beware if you are short-waisted like I am -- I ended up using fashion tape and safety pins to shorten the straps in the back. I also used fashion tape to hold down the front but had no issues. Had the size down been available I would have preferred it, but I would rent this dress again.

True to size, very flattering, hides hips and tummy but doesn't make everything look wide which is rare for fit and flare styles. Colors are more subdued than the photo but great winter dress. Got lots of compliments. On the short side so great for petite girls like me, but taller ladies beware.

Thought this dress was well made and lace was pretty but the hips were way too narrow for a pear shaped person. Usually a 2/4 in Shoshanna fits me perfectly but this dress is very narrow. As others commented the shoulders especially are quite tight. Very elegant dress but not for me.

Ended up with this dress as a back-up after my original order didn't work. Loved the longer hem in the back. At 5'4" this was a good length for a wedding (though I could have gone shorter). Looks great with a pointed toe shoe. I found this true to size as its fitted in the waist and stomach...this dress won't hide a non-flat tummy but I still felt cute in it.

Wore this dress for a holiday party with a blazer, tights and booties. Worked perfectly for the event, but this dress is great as you could dress it up or down for any occasion really. Great style if you are smaller on top and want more room in the hips.

Rented this dress for a date night and it worked well with black tights and booties. Shape is very flattering but the material was looking a bit worse for the wear. Might have been dry cleaned too many times so the silk wasn't as vibrant.

I rented this dress for a friend's wedding in the summer in Washington DC. I am usually a size 2-4 and the 4 fit like a glove as the top runs a bit on the smaller size (might be harder for bustier ladies). The skirt was very flattering (didn't have that the tight inner lining that is hard on us pear shaped girls with hips). The color is a bit muted so I think it would look better on someone who has dark skin or is really tan. I didn't end up wearing this dress as this was the alternate dress I rented, but I would consider this one for a future event.

Wore this dress to a friend's wedding and got tons of compliments. Dress fit perfectly (I normally wear a size 2 or 4 depending how tight it is in the hips) and the 4 fit perfectly - I didn't have to pull the dress up all night (though it might be tight on larger chested ladies). Loved how the dress didn't poof and make my curvy lower half look even curvier. I would definitely rent this dress or a similar Shoshanna again! Length was short enough to be flattering but long enough to be appropriate for the event.
