SIZE UP!!!! I know, everyone else said it too, but seriously, SIZE UP. At 5'3"/125lbs, I am between a 4 and a 6. I thought I would be safe with a small. LOLOLOL. No, I could not zip it at all. I for sure needed a medium. And even then, I question if it would have fit, considering the design--It is essentially a bandage dress with a flare bottom. The color is lovely, it is clearly a high quality dress, it just did not fit at all.

First rental I've worn twice!
Wore this out for drinks. Nice casual dress, but can easily be dressed up. It's essentially a light sweater material, with a slip underneath. It's really the first rental I've considered purchasing.

Was hoping to wear this to a wedding, but realized it was far too plain for photographs. The only detail on the dress is the lace at the bottom. An while it's sweet and delicate, it's pretty subtle. Also, the waist seemed oddly large, it would have been more flattering with a belt to cinch in the waist.

Loved this dress! The fabric was stretchy and heavy-- perfect for a fall evening. The cut of this dress was particularly flattering too... it flairs out at the waist accentuating an hour glass figure. I would rent again!

Not as flattering as I'd hoped
I am between a size 2 and 4, and while this dress was really pretty and beautifully made, it was not particularly flattering and certainly did not photograph well. The skirt cut off a half inch too high on my waist and flared out a little too much, making me look very matronly. I had planned to wear to a wedding, but knowing how much I'd be photographed, I decided against it.

Barely work appropriate
Great color- really loved the "power red." But, the fit was not great-- it seemed VERY short for work and was VERY tight across the bust. I wore tights to de-emphasize the shortness of the dress, but there wasn't anything I could do about the bust and the seams really emphasized the problem. Would not rent again.

Didn't End Up Wearing
Rented this for Christmas photos....but, it wasn't appropriate. Between the lace and the extra low neckline, there was something very lingerie-ish about the dress. There was waaay too much cleavage for any work or family event. It might have worked for a date, but other that I can't imagine wearing it outside.

Work presentation
I needed something "business casual" for a work conference I was attending. I really liked this dress. Good length and conservative neckline. The bottom ruffles gave it a bit of flair. Based on other reviews I sized down. I liked the fit, but admittedly had to wear spanx... the dress was pretty form fitting. If I rented it again I'd probably just go with my regular size.

I really loved this dress. Flirty and feminine, but not too short or low cut. It was perfect for a work party. But, I could also easily wear it on a date, out to brunch, to a shower. Really, wherever, it's such a great dress I considered buying it!

This dress is awesome! It's sexy, but the long sleeves and high neck make it appropriate for a more conservative occasion. The fabric has a nice weight to it, so it works well for fall and winter events. The only downside of this dress is that I couldn't raise my arms higher than my shoulders because the lace sleeves confined my movements. For this reason, I'd say not to rent it for a wedding or any other event where you'll be dancing.

Bachelorette Party
Very cool and unusual dress! I loved the heavy material (perfect for a fall evening), the back detail, the fact that I could wear a regular bra, and that it has pockets! The metallic sheen along with the interesting collar kind of gives it a futuristic/ Star Trek vibe, but I was down with that! And the low cut front shows plenty of cleavage! It fits true to size, at 5'3"/124 lbs I'm in between a 2 and a 4. So the 2 fit, but was a little snug at the waist.

Sister In Law's Bridal Shower
I wanted to wear something fairly casual for this shower at a outdoor beer garden. This dress was a good choice-- I loved the colors, pattern, and the quality of the dress. Also loved that I could wear a regular bra. I didn't give it five stars, because I did feel it ran slightly small in the bust. The tightness in this area made it appear that I was squeezing into the dress. I think it's best suited for women with smaller busts.

At 5'2", I loved that I could wear this long dress to a formal event without ridiculously high heels. The model shows this dress hitting mid-calf, but since I'm short the dress grazed my ankles. The Small fit perfectly, but the XS was sooo tiny that I could barely get it over my head. It's very body hugging, but the fabric kind of acts like Spanx, sucking you in! The flared bottom is a nice little twist on a simple long black dress.

Yeesh-- this dress is SHORT! The 0 fit my frame, but my booty was nearly falling out. The 2 fit, and the extra inch in length made it decent enough I could wear it outside. However, I had to be careful with every move I made that I wasn't flashing everyone. I think this is a design flaw of the dress. The dress has a ice-skater vibe, and I think it's the little tiny twirly skirt that makes it feel especially short. I wouldn't rent again.

Casual dress, perfect for a dinner date. I felt good in the dress, it was comfortable and very stretchy in the bust, so it can accomodate larger chested ladies. It kind of swings out a little under the bust, which I didn't think was so flattering, and definitely made me look like I was expecting in some pictures.

My birthday party!
The dress is cute and pretty casual. Perfect for a bbq or garden party. However, i warn you, get the size up! I am generally between a size 0 and 2, there was no way this dress would even zipper on the 0, and if was a tight fit in the 2. I was planning on wearing the dress for my birthday dinner and for drinks after. But, after a steak dinner, the dress was feeling waaaaay too tight, and I had to change!

Valentine's Day
When I first received the dress, I didn't think I could pull it off. The lace makes it very dramatic. Once I tried it on though, I was happy. The dress fit perfectly, it was glamorous without being costumey, and it made my waist look very tiny. Also, i loved that i didn't have to wear a strapless bra, as a nude bra was undetectable under the illusion top. Only downside is that it kind of photographed weirdly in pictures wroth a flash.

Easy day to night transition dress!
This dress is great... very comfy, I wore it all day at work paired with a black sweater, tights, and wedge Tom's (for the 30 degree day in Chicago), was able to run through O'Hare to make a flight, and then out for the night in Savannah where the temps were in the 60's (I ditched the tights, sweater, and wedges for gold sandals. So comfy I could have slept in it. Only downside is the fit.... the stretchy sheath is a little too clingy in some places (belly) to be flattering on all figures and yet still a little boxy. I found that I liked the dress more when paired with the sweater, as it kind of gave it the illusion of my waist coming in. Also, the pattern is so bold that the winter accessories set it off a little bit more than just wearing it alone.

Girls Weekend in Savannah!
Great dress! I had anticipated temps of 70 to 80 degrees when I rented this dress. However, when the forecast suddenly changed I was worried about my order. However, I was pleased to discover the versatility of this dress. Even though it is sleeveless, it is of a slightly sturdier material, pairing with tights and a sweater made it perfect for the 50 degree weather. Would rent again. I would note that while I generally fit in a 2 (38), they only had a 4 (40). Well, thank goodness! The 40 fit perfectly, my boobs woud have totally been squashed wih the 2.

Wore this dress all weekend!
I was surprised how much I liked this dress, the fabric is a little thick and it has silver threading, which has the potential to snag. But it's a very flattering dress, has some give, and is forgiving (I tried on the 2 and the 4, both fit, but I was more comfortable in the 4). In fact, it was so comfortable, I literally wore it all weekend-- out to dinner on Friday, to a party on Saturday, and then out to dinner again!

This dress is beautiful-- lightweight, bright colors. It's perfect for a garden party, bridal shower, or outdoor wedding. I ordered the size 2 and 4. The 2 was slightly tight in the bust and around the ribcage. While it fit, the 4 was more flattering and certainly more comfortable to wear all day.

My first RTR dress!
Beautiful fabric-- slightly heavy, but with a bit of stretch. Loved the high-lo. The length was perfect in the back for a formal event. I tried on a 4 at the RTR store, and it was too loose, so I ordered a 2 with a back-up size 0. The 2 just fit-- it was snug on top, but still flattering. However, by the end of the evening, it was so tight, I was dying to take it off. If I were to order it again I probably would order a size 2 with the 4 as the back-up. I have a feeling that the samples at the RTR store may be a bit more stretched out than the actual dresses. Moral of the story, if you're busty, order a size up!
