This dress is really great in person. The length was great do me at 5'0", and everyone loved it. I did, however, end up going braless. The front is super-plunge and every bra I had showed at the front. I was fine with it but you should do an adhesive bra if you feel strongly about it. Dress was well-made and comfortable.

This dress is meant to fit loosely I think but I could slip in and out of the 10 without undoing the zipper so if that bothers you go down a size. I was supremely comfortable and received a million compliments on this look. You CANNOT wear a normal bra with it, so keep that in mind. I felt okay going without. Also be careful of ruining the line of the dress with shapers - too tight and this dress shows that for sure.

This was my backup dress. I LOVED IT. I am 5'0" and would have needed 3-4" heels with the dress. The 10R was a loose fit (not a bad thing). If I rent this one again I'll get both an 8 and a 10.

This dress was nice for the wedding I was attending that was "black tie optional" but also had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor party. So it was warm out, but because this dress is more or less two light layers, it was comfortable to sit outside. The metallic brocade photographs really well but is a little less "fancy" looking in person, but the one-shoulder didn't droop (and I didn't need a bra which . . never happens?). I was wearing 5" heels but still had a little drag. At 5'0" that's not a huge surprise. Really happy with the dress! Received so many compliments.

These came as my "Stylist Surprise" and I really loved them. I love dramatic earrings, and I was wearing the Nicole Miller "Knockout" dress - I thought they went beautifully and it was easy to find accessories like a necklace and bangle to compliment them. The only issue is that I have a nickel allergy and while I was able to wear these for the entire event, when I took them off I did have marks on my ears, so be aware they are not nickel-free.

I ended up with this dress because the backup size of the Tulle to Lace gown was not available. Evidently I should let RTR choose my dress all the time! This gown is awesome. It has a very very fitted under layer that is, I think, powernet, and the lace lays over that. With my foundation garment + that underlayer, whatever I thought might be wrong with my body was totally hidden from everyone else because the compliments were nonstop! The straps were slightly long but I stuck those on with some of the fashion tape provided, so that was fine, and I did also have the rolling issue at the top of the bust, but again - fashion tape to the rescue. I loved this dress and I felt amazing in it. Highly recommended!!

I ordered this dress in a regular and a petite size, but ended up being able to get only the regular (RTR customer service ended up sending me a 3rd gown with my two choices to make up the shortfall on the backup size). I tried on the regular length, but the length was too much - I don't think I own or want to own shoes tall enough to make the regular length wearable for me. However, this is an incredible gown, and I would rent it again if I could get the petite. As a short, curvy person, it fit beautifully and had nice inside touches - an internal stay at the bust for one - that made it very comfortable to get into and try on.

I ordered this as a backup dress. I tried it on along with the others, and decided on another gown. However - first, I was surprised at the fit of the 12 - I was expecting it to be slightly larger on me but it was more what I would have expected from the next size down. Secondly, compared to the other gowns I ordered, this one doesn't have much in the way of internal foundations (no silicon strip at the top for example) - which is one reason why I chose a different dress, as I didn't want to be pulling my dress up all night. However, it's very, very pretty and flattering, and I would consider it for future events.
