I loved this dress! Despite being a very loose fit, the cut manages to be flattering. It was a teensy snug in the upper arms, but nothing too uncomfortable. Would love to buy this - such a versatile winter dress.

I LOVED this dress. The sleeves help balance the short skirt so that you feel sexy without feeling too exposed. I agree with other reviewers - the sleeves were a bit tight, but not uncomfortably so. The silhouette was incredibly flattering on my long torso/short leg build. The tulle needed repeated fluffing throughout the night to keep its kicky look, but I didn't mind. It IS dark navy blue, and I didn't have navy shoes, so I wore sheer hose and nude patent leather heels - looked great. Would definitely rent again for a special event.

This was a perfect, comfortable choice for a lower-key NYE dinner out in Chicago. The dress fit beautifully and was the perfect mix of heavier fabric (for Chicago winter warmth around my legs and midsection) and illusion sleeves and neckline (for a bit of skin without looking too exposed). The dress stretched enough to be comfortable but maintained its shape. Would rent again for a winter date/party.

This looks a bit more luxe in the photo than it does in person. There's some white string woven into the scarf amidst the gold string, and while it does help it from appearing too shiny, I think it also makes it look thin and cheap.

I really liked the dress, and it looked great on - hugs every curve, but the layered fabric is very forgiving. But as soon as I started to walk, the dress would ride up a LOT. It wasn't a size issue, because if I'd gone up a size and it wasn't tight in the hips and thighs, it would have been too loose everywhere else. I'm a pretty proportionate hourglass (although I do have a long torso) so I think this would be best for someone with narrower hips.

This dress looks beautiful on - I received a ton of compliments all night. As others have mentioned, the sizing can be tricky. I have a small frame with plenty of curves, so I was really between sizes - the XS fit like a glove in the body, but it was too plunging up top and was a little too snug in the upper arms. The S didn't cinch in at the waist as much as I would have liked and would loosely bunch there if I didn't keep it pulled down, but overall I was more comfortable in the S, so that's what I wore. I did wear the XS underneath layer, both because it fit better and because the straps on that one were nude, whereas the straps on the S were white. Neither of them came close to covering my chest in the way its meant to, so I elongated the straps, pushed the whole top part down and wore a nude bra. You couldn't tell at all once the lace layer was on. One thing to keep in mind - this dress is stretchy, it's tight and it's a little on the longer side, so when you walk, it WILL ride up. I didn't mind pulling it down frequently because I was wearing this for my birthday party and was either sitting or dancing the whole time, but if I was going to be at an event where I was standing a lot and felt "on display," I would probably opt for a dress that stays perfectly in place all night. I would absolutely rent this again for a similar event - in fact, I called RTR and was able to extend my rental period so I could wear it to holiday dinner later in the week.
