This dress is super comfortable and I received a ton of compliments. It is great for tall women - style is sexy without being too short. Either the 6 or 8 would have fit me, so not a huge difference between the sizes.

Got tons of compliments on this top and wish I could have kept it. The only issue for me was that I wore a medium for a bit more length because I'm tall and that made the top a little loose in the armholes and chest. But that was a very minor flaw on what was otherwise a perfect top for the occasion!

I wore this dress for a charity gala around the holidays. I usually wear a 6, but my rib cage is a little goofy since having a baby, so I had to get this back-up last minute because my original dress wasn't available in an 8L--it was a little loose, but worked ok. Loved that this dress was plenty long for me to wear with 4" heels, and it was extremely comfortable. The red color really stands out and was not an obnoxious red like I feared it might be. Gots lots of compliments and had a great night! (And thanks to RTR for rushing me this dress last minute!).

Start with the positive--The dress is really pretty and the back is amazing. But.... I ordered this dress for a work cocktail function, and even ordered a size up from what I normally wear in this designer because of reviews that said the dress ran short. No kidding! The next size up fit fine, but the slit in the dress came up to over 14" above my knee, and might close to parts women don't usually expose in dresses (at least not on purpose). And pinning the slit did not fix the issue (in my opinion). I'm not a super conservative dresser and am comfortable with short dresses on a tall frame, but this was not at all appropriate. Also, the lining on the dress kept sagging below the lace, which I would imagine could be fixed with fashion tape, but is still annoying. So, if I was a cute petite girl/woman, I'd give this dress high marks, but as a tall mid-thirties professional woman, it doesn't make the grade.

This dress was gorgeous - I wished it would have worked out for me. I'm 5'-10" and definitely needed the length that the tall offered. Unfortunately, the dress was too tight in the rib cage and bust, so my regular dress size didn't work. It was a busy rental weekend, so I couldn't get this dress in another size rushed to me and ended up wearing another Badgley dress. I would definitely keep this in mind for a future event though!
