Works as a jacket!
I’m posting this review because most of the other people wore this as a dress but I wore it as a jacket for a 1970s themed party along with a tube top and pants from the same company as this jacket. I was worried since it is marketed as a dress that it was going to have too much fabric to wear it open. I did not find that to be the case! I scrunched up the sleeves and wore it open all night. I think it worked well! This was for a party/gala in Southern California in the winter. It had some weight to it and it kept me warm while I was outside, but wasn’t too heavy to wear all night inside. Overall I would say it was perfect.

Great! Forgiving!
These pants are great! I am a few months postpartum and they made me feel so comfortable and confident! The bow is strategically placed to make me not worry about my belly. They are literally just huge pants with an elastic waist band… What’s not to love?! As other people mentioned, they do run long. I am 5’3” and I wore platform wedges with them and had no issues.

Inherently Frumpy
I think this top is sort of inherently frumpy. I had to pull this outfit together at the very last minute to go to a 1970s themed formal gala. I could see in the photos for the rental ahead of time that this top was a little frumpy, but I still decided to rent it anyway because it went with the whole outfit. It’s just a literally a tube with a lot of fabric. I decided to size up to a medium so that I could try to fold it over a little bit and give it some shape. If I had had more time to prepare, I would have found a top that went with the pants, but was a solid color. It’s a fine top. It just is what it is.

Great earrings
Really great earrings. Don't remember them being heavy or anything. I didn't have any issues with them. They were sparkly and classy. Really a nice pair.

There is no boning or ribbing within this dress-- what you see is what you get! I was concerned that it would look bad in the midsection, but I don't think it did. I wore spanx :) I liked this dress, but another woman at the event had on the same one which put a damper on it for me. With a dress this "flashy" it is definitely obvious when there is someone else in the same one. I spotted her the minute I walked in.

I need to own this dress! :)
This was a perfect dress for a perfect evening. I wore it to an event where I was meeting a former first lady. I knew I wanted to look sexy, but still conservative... this dress was perfect. I received so many compliments on it throughout the evening. I felt fabulous. Paired the dress with teardrop gold/diamond earrings and a tennis bracelet. Wore berry colored lipstick and nails... they looked great. I would highly recommend this dress (and the RTR experience) to anyone.
