I wore this for my office holiday party. It is a very form-fitted dress. The fabric is thick and sucks you in but there is little room for error nonetheless. I wore spanx with it. I characterize it as running small because I am typically a 4P in most Rent the Runway dresses of similar style to this one, but I could've potentially benefited from a size 6P in this dress. It might be because although I am petite, I have an athletic figure. It is sexy but still covers you up so I believe it to be appropriate for a work-related function. I was happy with this dress and would rent it again but would size up!

Unfortunately, as some other reviewers have indicated, the top portion of this dress is sized strangely. I tried both the XS and S. I can typically wear either size depending on the cut and style of the dress. The crossover flap in the front draped oddly and in an unflattering fashion. I expected to need the XS in this dress due to my small bust but it did not seem like my bust size was the issue. I think that it is possible that a larger busted woman would have an easier time with this, but also think it is just as possible that the front of the dress might spread exposing more than perhaps one would want. Won't rent this one again. Womp womp.

I loved this dress for my Night in Havana event. It is true to size, so although I ordered the small (my normal size) and the extra small as my back up, the small was more comfortable. Some other reviewers mentioned the sleeves being bothersome, but I didn't have that problem. Of course this style of sleeve won't allow you to raise your arms above your head but that wasn't a requirement for my night out. :) All in all, I loved the look, the crochet-type overlay is lovely and was appropriately Latin-inspired for my event, but I think it is a cute dress period.

Definitely the kind of dress for a club or party. I LOVED this dress for a couple reasons: 1) it is tight and form-fitting without being suffocating; 2) because the material is thick, it does give you some support to keep everything in place, so spanx aren't absolutely necessary (I wore a strapless bra and a thong); 3) as a petite woman (5'2"), it was a delight to rent a dress that was a mini even though it wasn't sized as a petite dress; 4) it is true to size - I usually wear a 2/4 or small and I wore a small in this look; and 5) it looks AMAZING on. Seriously, I got a ton of compliments and looks. The dress will ride up a bit when you walk and it is hard to pull over your head as the opening is a bit small, so beware. Do your hair after you put it on. I wore it with simple hoop earrings and gold bangles which I thought were appropriate given the pattern of the dress. If RTR decides to sell this dress, I'll be first in line to buy it.

I wore this dress for a formal gala with the intention of channeling a 20's club singer as it was a themed event. I am normally a 4P but rented both a 4P and a 2P as my backup. I ended up wearing the 2P, so I would consider this dress as being cut a bit larger than expected IF you have a small bust like I do (34A/B). I am 135 lbs, small on top, bigger on bottom, athletic build. The 2P fit like a glove - no need for a bra. It was the perfect cut in the front, being a deep V but not so deep that I felt uncomfortably exposed. It was long and so I did have to wear heels with it, but nothing outrageously tall. I got non-stop compliments in this dress. I was repeatedly told I looked like a sequined grecian goddess. I LOVED this dress. Would definitely rent it again. You will not be disappointed.

Color is fresh for spring or summer. Some reviewers bemoaned the size of the bag and that things can fall out of it, but none of that was true for me. I was able to fit my sunglasses, two lipsticks, a little tub of lip gloss, a slim roll on perfume, my iphone 6, a key, as well as my credit cards , id and cash in the little pocket inside. The chain strap is a good weight and doesn't look chintzy. I intended to use it as day bag for going to brunch and hanging out, but ended up also using it as my bag for the club at night and it was perfect because of its size. I really liked this bag and was sorry to return it. I would totally buy it!
