This dress was beautiful and unique. As other reviews note, it is slim through the hip. (you can even see that one the model picture, see how it pulls across her hip a bit?) I have pretty average proportions- I sometimes wear a size larger in a skirt than blouse- and it pulled on me that way too, but the lace camouflaged it enough that it was okay for the event. This dress would be incredible on someone with a larger chest relative to her hips. If that's you you should totally go for it!

I loved this dress. It fit well- I'm 5'8", 150 lbs, usually between a 4 and a 6. Either size would have worked in this dress but in the end I went for the 4. You definitely can't wear a typical strapless bra. The fabric is pretty thick and has some stretch, so I free-boobed it-- that's what I'd recommend if you feel comfortable. The shape and length make it more fun than a sheath dress, and more sophisticated than anything mini. I felt like amazing in this!
