Elegant and chic
My daughter wore this dress for a party. Lots of compliments all night long. She's a size zero- and this 0 fit like a glove. We did need to steam the top ruffle- and the hook and eye above the zipper was missing the eye...but the dress was great and so was the experience.

Runs small
Reserved this for a New Years Eve party-- the 14 was very small. Small as in "no-way-this-is-zipping-up-be-grateful-it-fit-over-your-hips- holy-cow-is-that-your-stomach-on-display". It does appear much more black than gold-- but still very pretty. In terrific condition. RTR is sending me the next size up so I'll see how that one fits....

This dress was sent to me because a dress I ordered was unavailable. I tried it on anyway. It is not for the faint of heart. Utterly, completely shapeless. A mother of the bride dress gone wrong. (And I'm not the mother of the bride.) To be fair, the dress was VERY large and that is where the shapelessness came in-- the accent at the neck was fine. The color was very dark and rich. And the ruching at the waist could have been pretty....if it fit. It also seemed to be longer than the picture. I'm 5'9" and I couldn't see my knees.

I received lots of compliments on the dress...but I was terribly disappointed.
The dress is lovely-- the lace and the beading really exquisite. Both sizes were in great condition-- the exception being that both were missing the bra straps. People loved the dress and I received dozens of compliments.. But I was disappointed. Both sizes I ordered were too large-- but it was for a New Years Eve party and it was too late to make a change. The dresses were *very* shapeless on me and made me appear *much* larger than I am. I cringe at every picture of me from that night. I ended up pairing it with black tights and knee boots to play up on the shapelessness. Heels looked silly. On the hanger it was stunning, on me it was forgettable.

A great party dress! Wore it for a New Years Eve party we hosted at our home. Very comfortable, very flashy but elegant. I was worried about renting a sequined dress (wear & tear) but the dress was in excellent shape. The v- neck was very flattering. The length concerned me a bit-- so I added a pair of black tights for extra coverage. I would rent this dress again!

Loved the dress! Rented the 10 and 12 and the 10 fit much better...comfortable to wear, great colors, perfect length. Paired it a cardigan and electric blue heels--- very fun, versatile...

Great dress-- just didn't work
Great dress in great shape. Subtle yellow (gold) detailing at the hem and a perfect silhouette. Unfortunately, getting it zipped that last 4 inches was too difficult. I'm not especially busty- and it fit well in the waist and hips-- so just double check the measurements before ordering.

Fabulous necklace!
Ordered this necklace to wear with the Lilly Pulitzer Bowen dress-- but the dress didn't fit- so plan B! Wore the necklace with a gold sequin tank and simple cardigan. Received so many compliments on the necklace throughout the night. Not too heavy, or "jangly" or noisy. A great statement piece. Would purchase it if I could!

Super cute print but the top did strange things to my chest. Flattened rather than, ahem, enhanced. I'm 5'9" and the skirt was just a inch or two too short. And the skirt was just a bit too full...Sadly I returned it without wearing it....

Once you get the "hang" of the material that drapes in the front of the skirt you'll be fine. Pretty pattern. Warning-- the dress is *short* so I didn't dit down much while I was wearing it. (I'm only 5'9".)
