Beautiful and true to size
The L version was all that was available, so I ordered it, and it was a bit too long for me at 5'8" but I was anticipating that. Really beautiful and hides and body imperfections.

I wanted to like this dress!!! It was both too BIG and too SMALL!!
Some reviews said it ran small and some said the chest was big, so I ordered up with a 16 and 18. I'm really a 14 now, and have a decent size chest so I wasn't worried about the chest being too big. Omg was I wrong. The waist is SMALL, and the top is HUGE. I had to wear the 18 so I could zip it and we had to hard core pin the top so there want a 4" gap between my chest and the dress. It was so bad I ended up wearing a shawl over it... and I was a bridesmaid so not ideal at all: such a bummer. I can't even recommend how to size this for anyone.. while I'm not super thin, my body shape is one that typically stuff fits me at the right size, or sizing up. I literally can't imagine either the 16 or 18 fitting ANYONES body type. It was bizarre. I'm lucky my sister, the bride, didn't care what the bridesmaids wore

Beautiful, flattering and very comfortable
Beautiful shape and super flattering to cover up my "mom stomach". The dress was so comfortable and lasted all day and night through a wedding ceremony, reception and after party. Super flattering and I got a ton of compliments!

Great fit with flattering shape
I didn't end up wearing it, as it was my backup dress for a wedding, but it was beautiful. Fit very well and the pull in at the high waist was very flattering as it gave some good coverage over my stomach and hips. It is a very simple dress, and can be easily dolled up with a belt, bolero, etc. The fabric is thick - which also helps forgive any body shape imperfections. Its beautiful.

It ran SO SMALL, I couldn't wear it :(
Im a size 14, leaning toward a size 12. They didn't have this dress in a 14, so I ordered the 16 as a back up dress but it was so small, I couldn't even zip it up. So- being on the small size of 14, or large end of 12- its a bit discouraging when you cant even get a size 16 on :) Its a gorgeous dress, I would just recommend ordering 2 sizes up OR ensuring you order enough time in advance to have a replacement ready.

The color didn't look great on me, the sweater is cute though.
It would have fit well over skinny jeans or leggings, but the color wasn't my favorite for my skin tone.

I ended up not wearing this, ,as the pleats made me look pregnant (I'm not :))
The dress did fit well, and if I had a flatter stomach, it would likely have been more flattering on me; however, on mine the pleats puffed out and it made me look much larger around the middle than I already am and actually really made me look pregnant.. .which is not the look I was going for. Material is thick (which I love) and the dress is super cute.
