The 8 fit perfect, but it was just very loose in the bust. Since the straps weren’t adjustable, I used a bra strap converter to make it more of a halter, tacked the front with a little fashion tape, and also pinned it for good measure. I’m under 5’ and even with my 5” platforms on, it was still pretty long. So, just be aware if you’re short. Otherwise this dress was a huge hit.

This was a fantastic find for how last minute I needed to find a gala dress. The medium was all that was available and I definitely could have sized up to a large to be more forgiving in the midsection. However, this dress was still surprisingly comfy, had great stretch, and it hugged my curves. The only issue I had was the lining poked out through the slit. Not sure if I would have had the same issue if I sized up, but it was very minor.

This dress is a stunner, even on my 4' 11" frame, but I wish that I could have received the large. This is not cut for curvy girls, and by the end of the night I wish I had extra room. Someone didn't return it in time so I had to make do. Still looked great and I would rent again.

This was an emergency overnight replacement when my original choice became unavailable, but this dress ended up working out beautifully. I am incredibly short and this dress hit me about mid thigh, well above the knee. The lace had a retro feel and was extremely soft and comfortable. The vintage buttons on the sleeves were also a nice surprise. I would rent again if ever in a pinch.

The length on this dress was great. It flared out just past my fingertips, and the waist lined up with my natural waist. The color and fabric are even richer in person. My only gripes were that because it was such a high quality fabric, it was super stiff and structured in the shoulder area. Being a petite woman there was a little extra material in the shoulders and armpits that wouldn't lie quite right when I sat and would bulge out. The zipper was also a little tricky and jumped the track. Easily fixable, but I was always nervous zipping and unzipping. Ultimately it's a really lovely dress and I would rent again if the occasion called for it.
