I really enjoyed wearing this dress. I loved the pattern and the drama of the skirt frill. I chose the 6 over the 8 which was too big on top. I wore a NuBra. The fabric is satiny and doesn't have any give. The fit was not perfect but i felt fairly comfortable in it and it looked great on! I was really guided by previous reviewers - the straps run on the long side which is problematic for smaller-chests. Also, the hips were a bit snug (mine measure about 40" if that helps) so I had to hike the skirt a bit when sitting.

I rented this beauty in a 4R and 6R for my godson's baptism. Unfortunately, only the 4 was available and it ended up being a little too short in the torso for me. (I feel that Kate Spade tends to run small in general). Given this, the 6 would have fit well however it was unavailable. I was sent an alternate but it was not appropriate for the event. I ended up sorting out the matter with the RTR staff though! All's well that ends well.

I received this item as a substitute when my original back-up size was unavailable. Unfortunately, the event I was renting for was my godson's baptism and I don't think the priest would have been happy to see me show up in this. While it is fun, it is definitely not me. I did try it on though and the 6 fit well so I'd say it's true to size. I did end up sorting out my outfit with the RTR staff who were very helpful.

I wore this dress as a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding in August of '15. After a springtime yoga teacher training, I was pretty streamlined by the time the wedding rolled around so I found that the 4R was much too big and baggy. The halter part in particular was very loose so I had to go with the 2R. It fit well, perhaps slightly snug at the hips but only slightly. I wore a NuBra as the listing suggested. I was definitely happy with how things turned out!

This was my first RTR dress. It was a test run for my brother's wedding in August (where I'll be a bridesmaid) and I wanted to get used to the process. This dress immediately caught my eye because of the color -- It just popped on the model in the photo. When I first got the dress, it didn't look like much on the hanger but when I put it on and we were out and about, it looked great. I wore this to a friend's wedding and I got multiple compliments throughout the night. Usually, I would say I'm a six but really my size varies so much between brands that I have no clue what size I actually am. Designers are so inconsistent these days. Anywho, I got the 4R and 6R (after double-checking and consulting with a RTR stylist -- very helpful!) -- Tried the 4 on first and didn't even bother with the 6 b/c it would have been too big. The length was perfect with ~3" heels. The only other thing I'd like to address with this dress, that the other ladies have mentioned, is the panel that crosses the bust that doesn't exactly lay flat. It looks like it does on the model but it doesn't in real life. Mine didn't, but it looked okay as you can see from the pic.
