I really appreciate how comfortable this dress is. The fabric is really soft, and the sleeves are roomy but still fitted. I also LOVED the color — looks a little pinker IRL than in the photo. The piping along the sleeves and neck were also great details. But, the cinches at the waist were strange. They didn't hold — I had to either keep adjusting them, or just let them loosen. If this had a better waist, I would buy.

I got a size larger than usual because it was all that was available, and I thought it would be fine since the dress isn't very fitted. That was a mistake — it probably runs a little large as it is (description says L=size 8, which I disagree with). I had to wear a shirt underneath because the top was just so big on me. But the rest of it felt fine, because the drawstring cinches it at the waist and it's meant to be baggy anyway. I ended up wearing it several times because it was comfortable and the print was AWESOME. I felt like a psychedelic therapist, in the best way. I'll rent this again, or find it on a resale site for cheaper to buy.

I liked wearing this. It felt like a pretty typical Madewell dress, although the cut sleeves were a nice touch. The pattern and color are nice, but nothing that special. It's cut pretty low in the front, so I would have had to wear a shirt underneath for work. Overall, though, I liked it! If it were less expensive, I could see myself buying it to have as an easy dress in the closet.

I loved how the body of this dress fit, and how the skirt just flowed. It was casual enough to pair with a jean jacked during the day, and cute enough to go with a leather jacket at night. The fit is also very forgiving—great if you're sick of ordering things that end up too big or small.
