I needed a dress that could conceal my post-baby problem areas and this did the trick. Since I'm nursing and the pleating at the hip adds a little volume- I looked more curvaceous than usual and needed a 6 instead of my normal 2/4. Overall I loved this, and felt very cute in it. I would recommend wearing a fun statement shoe since the dress is on the simpler side.

Loved wearing this dress- the silhouette kept it from being a boring black dress, the fit was perfect- not to snug, but still showed off my shape. I typically wear more a-line silhouettes because I have bigger hips so I was concerned that this wasn't going to be forgiving enough- I went up to a size 4 because of this and it was perfect. It totally worked and I felt extremely comfortable the entire night in. My only gripe was that it was slightly too long- I chose a long length based on the reviews and the fit notes, but at 5'7" plus 3 1/2" heels, it was still just a bit too long for me and I had to hold it up while dancing otherwise I was stepping on the hem.

I wore this dress for a wedding where the guests had to dress within a certain color palette. I don't feel comfortable wearing body-con dresses, and I liked the grecian-inspired neckline on this one. I thought this was going to feel more "prom" based on the picture, but was relieved that the skirt wasn't as voluminous when I wore it. Normally, I have to size up in dresses because my bottom is larger than my top, but since this has an a-line skirt, I was able to wear the smaller size.

This dress is so feminine and pretty- the fabric looks so rich and expensive, and the fit is perfect. I am smaller on top but have curvy hips so the fit/flare silhouette worked great for me! I wore this to a winery wedding, and it was a great mix of daytime and cocktail without being too over the top.

Overall, this is a cute dress but I think it has to be styled right. I normally wear a 2/4 but this dress in the 2 was a tad to big for me in the bust (I am extremely small in the bodice)- but it fit right in the hips so I couldn't size down anymore. It felt a little potato sack-ish on me and if I had a cute belt to give it some shape, I think I would have liked it more. I ended up not wearing it because I would have spent the night tugging it up.
