I love Shoshanna dresses. That being said, I don't know that my body type is the best for them. I'm usually a size 8, but in Shoshanna I feel like I need something between a size 8 and 10. I went with the 8 this time so it was more fitted in the bust area and it does run on the short side. I LOVE the pattern and received many compliments. I wore it with the Kate Spade blue necklace that gave it that extra WOW factor. The ONLY negative comment that I have is that when I leaned different ways in pictures I felt that the mid-section of the dress puffed out (giving me a little pregnant looking belly) - so because of that I would say that it wasn't the most flattering dress that I have worn, but I still had a LOT of FUN wearing it!

I felt this dress fit very true to size. Being 5'-9" and wearing medium height heels, I NEEDED the 'Long' sizing. The dress made me feel FANTASTIC! I had never worn a long dress to a wedding and I WILL be doing it again! I was able to wear my regular bra, which is always a plus for me. It flowed beautifully when I walked and danced. The only CON I can think of is that, while it was in great condition, the pleating shown in the picture (at the bottom of the dress) online wasn't nearly as defined. I would HIGHLY recommend this dress!

I chose this dress as a last minute backup because there was a quality issue with one of my original dress sizes. It was a VERY pretty dress, but too modest for what I was going for. Was darker than expected in person and the ribbon around the waist had no stretch and I felt like it made me look wide in the hips if that makes sense. I ended up wearing the original dress that I ordered in a larger size because I had my heart set on it, but I would consider renting this dress for a different type of event in the future.

This was my first RTR experience and I was on the lookout for a bold color. I fell in love with most of the Shoshanna dresses, but this RED one stuck out. I felt pretty and sexy. It was a nice change to not wear a black dress like most of the other guests - felt like a model. I ordered the 8 and the 10, but the lace along the neckline of the 8 looked VERY worn, while the 10 appeared to be brand new. I usually wear an 8, and this one was snug on my large bust and gave a sexier vibe (i.e. more cleavage). But due to the quality, I wore the 10, which, because of my large bust, I was able to fill out and the dress was still flattering. Bonus points for the fact that I could wear a regular bra and that spanx were not necessary - super comfortable and cute (and I actually used the pockets). RTR did offer to send a new size 8 overnight (but ended up not having one in stock) so they allowed me to choose an alternate dress (Shoshanna - Lost in Love) and they overnighted that in the 8 and the 10. While it was a cute dress, it was darker than expected and it was more modest than I wanted to go for the wedding so I ended up wearing the RED one and was not disappointed.
