This was the perfect, flashy dress for a formal party. I was so excited to get it. However, I'm typically a size 14, maybe 16 on a bad day, but also very curvy, especially my hips and thighs. Based off the other reviews, I decided to order the 1X and 2X as a back-up. I was very surprised to find the 1X fit was very off. It's hard to tell in the picture but there's asymmetrical rouching just on one side of the skirt. This made it feel very odd and I felt like I needed to keep pulling it down. Otherwise, the 1X fit great. But I tried on the 2X and that odd feeling did go away for the most part. Plus the fit in the top was hardly any different than in the 1X. So I wore the 2X and got lots of compliments. The color is beautiful and it's a very fun, flashy dress for a night out. I would recommend it, but probably wouldn't rent it again. Looked great with black tights! Plus, the sequins weren't itchy as the liner did its job. Can also be worn with a standard bra, so it's great for busty ladies!

The fit was weird. I didn't like how one side of the skirt was bunched differently than the other. I'm a size 14 but ended up wearing the 2X. But It fit pretty well and hid my flaws well while still being figure flattering. Loved the color and got tons of compliments.

This dress was a great length. It was modest, but not too long. My biggest problem was it was VERY tight. I am pretty curvy and it almost didn't fit over my thighs. I also have a very large chest, and yet this dress almost felt too big in the top. The darts didn't hit correctly and looked a bit off. The dress itself was the perfect style for an engagement party, but I was disappointed with the fit.

I wore the 10R, which fit almost perfectly. It was slightly long with 3 1/2" heels, but was easy enough to hold the bottom when I was walking. The fit was spot-on otherwise and very figure-flattering. I got a number of compliments on the dress and the color. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, formal dress.
