I wore this dress to a Casino Royale themed fundraising gala. The attire ranged from cocktail to black tie, so this dress fit perfectly in the middle. It's sparkly and fun but the material is much lighter and more comfortable than sequins. I found the small slightly loose around the bust--I would have used a bit of double sided tape on the strapless side if I had some--but I think it worked fine and a little loose is better than too tight! The material is a bit light/thin, so it didn't really keep me warm at all while I was outside at the event. I thought the cut of the skirt with the slit and wrap effect was very flattering. I would definitely recommend this dress.

I chose this dress after an appointment at one of the NYC showrooms. I wouldn't have picked it out myself from the pictures (although I do love green), but it is stunning on! I tried on the 4R at the showroom and decided to order the 2R and 0R as backup. I was able to fit into both of them, but the 0 was tight around the neck and arms, and it is not meant to be super fitted, so I went with the 2. Regular was the perfect length for me with super low wedge sandals (1/2" or 1"--almost flats), and I'm 5'8". If you choose to wear a bra, it would have to be strapless or backless. I received TONS of compliments from other guests at the wedding. The dress is very simple and comfortable but so flattering and striking. I highly recommend this dress and I can't wait to order from Rent the Runway again!
