The color was dull and the size was comically small, as if it had been washed 10,000 times. Not sure how this is an XL. The body length is 21.5" and the chest width at widest point is 19". So if your chest is 38" it is snug. If your chest is larger, it will be like a sausage casing. It fits more like a Medium.

Freakishly small
I don't know if this thing is a child's 12 or mis-sized or shrunk at some point, but this dress literally wouldn't wrap around my thigh. I let Customer service know to take this piece out of circulation because there is obviously a problem with it and they told me they understood/finding the right size can be tricky. HA! Beware if you rent the size 12. Maybe an 8 year old can wear it.

Pretty cute in the year of the skirt
Probably not the most flattering thing on my body, but I liked it! I admittedly do not read descriptions thoroughly sometimes so I was expecting it to be in dressier fabric to wear to a party and it is actually like a cotton poplin. That ended up being fine though because I wore it with a leather jacket, sweatshirt, and sneakers and loved it.
