Perfect Playclothes
Husband loved this little number. Wore it to an Octoberfest celebration, wore it again to tour around Athens. Features prominently in all our Acropolis shots. A happy daywear option. Not too short, gladly, very soft, breezy, sweet, comfy. (I think getting the Medium helped in the appropriateness department.) Eye catching without trying too hard. Sleeves were especially good for puffing and de-puffing, depending on the mood of the day. Would buy new if it were still available from Saylor.

Hollywood Starlet
Heavyweight silky delight. Obviously of quality. Glamorous to the max. Perfect for showing sunkissed September legs while remaining wrapped fashionably above. Loved wearing this for our anniversary party - definitely light citron yellow as pictured, but some thought it was cream or white. Gorgeous flow. Don't worry about it looking matronly up top - super sophisticated and a little origami-esque. A little roomy in the bottom even on a curvy girl, which was a welcome relief.

Heart handle for the win
Special. Love everything Lizzie Fortunato touches, and this tiny pursette was no exception. Golden heart handles?! The best. Ultimately too little to be very useful (constantly worried about shoving in/breaking my sunglasses), but I adored carrying it around for our fancy first anniversary date, and continued to make it happen for daily use (with the chain strap) during most of our Grecian vacation. Dark navy and true fawn (not blue and tawny rose).

Maybe I'm just getting too old for this kind of look to be an A+ on me, but I felt this was boring and a bit shabby. I really wanted to like it, love the combination of colors, and even appreciated it well enough when I tried it on with the last of my summer tan, but the drop waist is VERY pronounced, the ruffles on the shoulder fraying, and the florals were not so beautiful that I could bring myself to actually want to wear it out of the house. One of the shoulder straps came broken and I couldn't gear up to repair it. This was a pass.

Grecian Holiday
Wore this as a day dress for our adventure to the Ammoudi Bay in Oia, Santorini. I paired it with flat brown Grecian sandals was complimented by the most chic local women on how lovely I looked and how fitting it was for the setting. Surprised to find it was such a substantial cotton fabric and less red-white-blue, more red-white-blue-orange-pink, which ended up working better for me anyway, as I wore a complimentary orange/pink/white smocked bikini underneath that provided for some more coverage. It is a bit low cut for daytime, and since I sized up probably unnecessarily (options offerred were S or M - not number sizing - but a 6 arrived), it was a little longer than it needed to be and the shape wasn't really doing my figure any favors. Would go with the 4 if I were to rent it again. Still, it was somehow classic in that quaint Sound of Music way and felt completely right!

Sweet and sassy
Cute as can be, but did not feel juvenile or shabby chic - just the right amount of adorable. Sized up so I wasn't worried about it riding up too high. Fit nicely at the waist - comfy and pretty, with pockets. Made it an outfit complete with the matching off-the-shoulder top. (Though, I wish these simply came together so I was not 'spending' two of my unlimited slots). Wore the ensemble in Santorini to match the sunset. Completely loved it. If it weren't 55 degrees at home, I'd be keeping it for another wear or five!

Hot Stuff
A bit too snug in the bottom for big-bottomed girls, but somehow has a shaping effect, and since its black, it looks glam, not scandalous. Do not be worried that the crocheting is too revealing. It really isn't peekaboo. Svelte and structured. I felt really excellent in this getup, worn with cerulean suede pumps, and would rent again in a heartbeat.

This dress is comprised of everything I love - ballerina styling, white camisole bodice, knife-pleat skirt, fine 70s-esque pastel striping. It is ENCHANTING. If I wasn't feeling saucy, and it weren't my birthday party with intimate friends at a swanky hotel, the keyhole would have made me feel like little too much - your boobs WILL be showing. The structure of the bodice is really helpful in going braless, though, and fit me like a glove, which made me confident. The slip underneath leaves a little to be desired - it was sheer, and was definitely too snug on my pear frame, causing it to ride up and make wrinkles in the outer layer at times. Why a slightly more accommodating, opaque under-layer was not engineered is beyond me. I loved the dress so much I didn't care. How much do I love it, you ask? I can only find one in the world for sale, two sizes too big, but might just go ahead and purchase anyway and alter it down, at whatever cost. It is worth noting that the RTR model picture is not accurate. Maybe it is a sample? The stripes do not begin at the waistline, but further down. The fabric is white immediately below the waist. The stripes showing as pink are actually lavender, but do seem to photograph pink.

Surprisingly stunning, so pleasing to wear
Wore this for daytime visit to a winery and botanical garden with tan legs and cognac and black flat sandals and loved it. Strangely sexy though you are all covered up. Would have worn it into evening and again the next day if I hadn't rented other outfits for those occasions. An easy go-to when you want to feel composed with little effort. Left buttons half undone, but would have liked to try it in the winter with buttoned up with tights and booties. Feels very together, very "I can do anything." Just enough pouf, just enough length. Orange and blue floral pattern Very Pretty. Would re-rent in a heartbeat.

Cotton-candy sweet, but not old-fashioned
This was a mostly demure Easter dress, with a modern scuba fabric, modern fat zipper up the back, and modern cut at the bodice that kept it from being a snooze. A little revealing under the arms, but countered nicely by the full front-pleat skirt. Nice and voluminous for pear-shapes. Loved the on-trend Pantone crystalline blue and quartz pink. Hard to see online, but the diamond lattice pattern is actually made up of tiny digitized flowers. Very comfortable to wear on a hot, hot day.

Special, fashion-forward, fancy
A definite look-at-me piece, to the extent I was a little uncomfortable. Shiny and slinky, low cut even for a smaller bust (I regrettably wore a black camisole underneath because I felt too exposed for a daylight alfresco dinner, and the heat was not an excuse to go bare, as it was only April.) It accommodates but does not do wide hips any favors, and wrinkles easily over the lap after sitting - BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER. BEAUTIFUL. Everyone adored and wished I could keep to repeat wear for my birthday the following weekend. No one else will have this on and you will love how becoming the flutter sleeve looks. The fabric is rich and the print is gorgeous in its detail.
