The look of a skirt with the functionality of pants.
The size medium waist band hit just at my natural waist (which varies from 28 - 30 depending on bloat level). Really light and comfortable. The legs are so wide that it does look like a skirt, which is a good way to ease into wearing culottes. Pockets were the icing on the cake.

Easy, breezy and pockets!
For skirts/pants, I usually wear somewhere between a 6 - 10. My natural waist is 28-30" depending on time of day/bloat. The top hit just below my navel. The fabric is light cotton (like linen but softer), and there's a lot more light pink in the pattern than I expected. Easy to dress down or up.
