Rented this last minute for New Year's Eve and was a little nervous because I was only able to order a 40 and 44. I normally wear a 4-6 depending on how fitted the dress is. I wore the 40, which was actually still a little large in the waist, but that's how the dress is supposed to fit. I LOVED everything about this dress. I wore a free people strappy bralette underneath and it was perfect. It did show in the armpits a little, but that didn't bother me. It's a great material, lightweight sweater dress. I wish I could keep this!

I am bigger through the hip region and have a fairly small waist, so I got this dress thinking that the waist was really the only area I would need to worry about size wise. I should have read the reviews more carefully, because this dress definitely runs small in the hips. The top of the 4 fit perfectly but was way too tight in the hips. I ended up going with the 6 but it was a little baggy in the waist line and upper back. You can't really tell in pictures so I was ok with it. It was comfortable and perfect for a late summer outdoor wedding in San Diego. As other reviewers have said- definitely brighter in person but I loved the color!

I liked this dress, however I think it is best suited for people with a very straight body type. I am typically a 4-6 and have a small waist and larger booty. This dress was baggy in the waist and tight through the hips in both sizes I ordered, but was hidden a bit by the pattern. It did tend to get tight in the neck with sitting or bending forward to fix my shoes. The dress worked out overall and I got lots of compliments!
