Sleek, sophisticated, and flattering!
This is a stunning dress. The material was different than I expected-- it felt kind of like a soft denim-- but it holds you in in all the right places. The cut is also very sophisticated and the seaming along the bodice gives it some more added interest. I got compliments all night!

Classy and elegant with a hint of flare.
My grandmother was a style icon in many ways-- a sassy Southern belle with a huge and amazing closet. I got this dress to wear to her funeral where I was the main speaker. I felt like it hit the right note. Conservative enough to still be appropriate for a somber occasion, but stylish enough that I felt like I was honoring her memory. Like other reviewers, I found it to be formfitting, however, I disagree with the idea you can't wear it with Spanx! (I did and it looked GREAT and very flattering.) I would say this is a very versatile dress-- you could wear it to a conservative work function or glam it up with accessories for a cocktail party or a night out. If I had this in my closet, it would get a lot of wear for sure.

Dozens of complememts!
Loved, loved, loved this dress! The fabric is stretchy but also thick enough that it manages to hug the curves while also being incredibly flattering. The sleeves were also a great touch and the color a gorgeous dark teal in person. My husband said I looked like "a knockout" in this, and I would say there was definitely something 60s pinup about this dress. I joked with my girlfriends I was having my "Joan (from Mad Men) moment." Definitely want to rent this one again.

So Flattering, So Gorgeous
I rented this dress for my brother in law's wedding (read: lots of family photos), and couldn't have been happier. The color is really beautiful and the way the skirt hangs makes it incredibly flattering. I also have a fairly full chest and was surprised that the dress even showed the tiniest bit of cleavage. The highlight of the event for me though was when I was walking to my car to go to the venue-- a woman stopped me on the street and asked who made my dress. Wish I could own this one. It looks incredible with gold accessories.

Not so Flattering
I rented this dress for a black tie masquerade ball because I really needed a silver dress to match my mask. I have to say, I was not a fan of this one AT ALL. I love a structured dress with a nice, thick fabric-- a lot of my favorite dresses by brands like Lela Rose or Tibi have that sort of fit. This dress on me at least had thick fabric but it didn't really hold me in or shape at all-- it just kind of hung there. I felt a bit like I was wearing a curtain. I also disagree with the comment by many reviewers that this dress runs small. I am somewhat curvy and bigger on top-- I wear a 6 top and a 2 bottom, typically. I was really swimming in the 8, both on top and bottom. If your cup size is why you usually size up on dresses, I would say there is no need to do that on this one. Order your regular size.

Felt like queen for a day in this beautiful, well-made dress!
I rented this dress for a friend's wedding where I was playing a big role and it was PERFECT for the occasion. The navy definitely made it feel more special than your standard LBD. And as a somewhat curvy person I also really appreciated the lovely fit-- it cinches in just the right places and the beaded neckline eliminate the need for a statement necklace. It looked great in all the photographs!

Rockstar Chic.
I rented this dress as my backup dress for a recent wedding, and loved it so much I wound up wearing it to the rehearsal dinner. It's a great cut with the perfect bit of edge-- I paired it with a black leather bomber jacket and a python Ted Rossi cuff for the perfect look. My husband, who's usually clueless on clothes, said it was one of his favorite dresses he'd seen me in.

Wish I could've worn this one!
This is a lovely dress, with fabric at the shoulders which really gives it a very unique and classy look. I order Lela Rose all the time, however, and I have to say that this dress runs considerably smaller than many of her other dresses-- especially through the hips and bust area. Although I've comfortably fit into the Sweet Sarah dress and Galaxy Tweed dress in a size 8, this one wouldn't-- quite-- zip, so I had to wear my backup dress, which was the Sweet Sarah in a size 8. Definitely will be renting this one again though in another size!

The wedding cameraman kept asking me if he could take pictures of my "amazing outfit!"
I rented this dress recently for a wedding where I was playing a big role-- giving one of the last toasts of the evening. I felt amazing the entire night. The sheen of this dress gave it a really special, stunning look, and the thick, well-made fabric held me in nicely, hiding any little bulges. (I always go for sculptural dresses for that very reason.) I couldn't recommend this dress more highly, and I got complements all night long!
