A little disappointing
I have been dying to try Varley and almost ordered a piece similar to this-I'm glad I didn't. It's very oversized-extremely long (think tunic-length), and the fabric is just meh-not extremely comfortable, just very polyester-feeling. I was not wow-ed, but again, very glad I could test out before buying.

The material was not as I expected-thick, but the outer is almost neoprene-like-which I actually surprisingly liked bc it holds it's dark black color very well and zero signs of wash wear. The fit is perfect! The puff shoulder is perfect! Length is perfect! It's flattering-can be dressed up or down. I really wouldn't expect to have so much to say about what's a seemingly average casual top, but it's honestly amazing and it's the first piece I've considered keeping for good.

These are capris
While I am on the taller side being that I'm 5'9, I really wasn't expecting these to be capri-length. They are not even close to how I thought they would be simply due to the length. I'm not talking ankle, I'm talking CAPRI. The model with them full-length must be 5'6 or shorter. Just not as expected and not what I was looking for at all. Guess I should have looked for inseam measurement in the details.

Pretty, but...
Really pretty dress and I love the lace/sheer detail. However, I found it to be uncomfortable around the neck and arms maybe due to the edges of lace. Also, I got a size 8L and I am 5’9. The dress just barely graced the ground when I was BAREFOOT! And there is no way I’m wearing flats to a formal event, so this was a no-go for me.

This dress is luxurious—however, the one I got had seam splitting at the front slit and lots of wear on the delicate straps, so I did not wear it. Fit was v generous in the hip area-kind of gapped there for me and I don’t have a boyish figure.
