When I was asked to be a bridesmaid in a late June wedding and told we could wear 'whatever we were comfortable with', I knew I would be using Rent the Runway. I quickly settled on this dress due to its unique high neck and open back - I figured the lace would be perfect for a hot, Sacramento day. I typically wear a 4 but the reviews were true that the dress runs a little big. My hips are usually my 'problem' area with fit, but it hugged my curves without being too tight. The lace itself was very light and has some stretch to it, so I was able to dance comfortably through the whole reception. I was mainly worried that the dress would be too short on my long legs and I'd become 'that bridesmaid' but the hem was a classy length and I actually got several compliments on how beautiful the dress was. Definitely worth renting again! Note: You'll need to put the dress on before you do your hair and if you wear a stick-on bra you'll likely have to trim the sides because it will stick out in your armpits.

I wore this with the 'Take the Stage' gown and the color matched exactly. Earrings are my signature accessory and once I saw these I couldn't pass on them. Not too heavy and did not irritate my earlobes either. Excellent rental!

After trying on the 6L I was a little disappointed because it was a good fit, but I felt very wide. The day of the event I tried my luck with the 4L and it fit perfectly. I was able to wear a regular bra and the length was perfect with my black pumps. To accent the black edging I wore dress gloves and I was complimented on the ensemble throughout the night, even in line for the bathroom! The dress was a comfortable weight and didn't feel heavy at all, however the sequins did rub on my arms the whole night. After the first 30 minutes or so I didn't notice it anymore but the next day my arms were a little red. Definitely recommend this dress!
