Great color, pretty buttons
I didn't even notice the buttons before renting. They are such a nice detail. The fabric is soft, not itchy, and I loved the color. It was a nice way to switch it up for work.

Itchy but pretty
Honestly, if I liked how it looked on me, I would have been able to bear the itchiness. I don't think that would have been enough to deter me. It fit just right, but I think it would have looked better on me if it were shorter and without the slit. If you know this style works for you, I'd say give the dress a shot.

Not for me
This dress fit, but it's hard to put on and did not look good on me. I think it might be too long for body/shape. (It hit lower on me than it does the model in the picture.) I also may just look better in more open necklines. Not worth it for me. Immediate dislike. From what I saw in the reviews, it does look great on others, though!

Love love loved it!
I loved the dress, and so did so many other people. I think it's perfect for a black-tie affair. In my case, I used it for a wedding in early fall. The fabric/pattern is gorgeous, the slit perfect, and the way it flows when you walk... chef's kiss! I highly recommend :)

Snatched! Provocative neckline though.
I love how this dress snatched me up and was still comfortable. It may have just been my chest (which looked great), but I thought the dress might be a little too "vulgar" for the black-tie wedding I was attending. I would totally rent it again for something else, and would definitely try more Solace London clothing. Loved it. You will probably need some tape to make sure the top lays flat, but the girls stayed in place without it. Three-inch heels made it reach the perfect length.

Beautiful fabric, simple dress
I ultimately chose to wear something else, but this dress is beautiful, and I'd say it fits true to size. I think the heels I tried it on with were 3 inches tall, which was just enough to not have the dress dragging on the ground.

Gives the illusion of curves
I love top/sleeves. The asymmetrical top and cutouts helped balance my shape and give the illusion of more curves. My shoulders are on the broader side relative to my hips and this dress complimented that well. I would not wear this to a black tie wedding, but I do think it would be suitable for other formal affairs. The slit might look kind of funny, but it works.

The sleeves are funny
The dress fit, and I liked the slit. I didn't feel as if it went up too high and could still be appropriate for a black-tie setting. That said, the sleeves are kind of funny. The long one fit fine, but something about the side that rests over your shoulder didn't look right. I think it may have more to do with me than the dress? Looking at others' reviews, the sleeves can work for some. I'm just a stickler for detail and did not like it. Ultimately, I decided it was a no for the event and chose not to wear it.
