Sexy and Flattering

I didn't end up wearing this dress because it wasn't quite right color-and-style wise (I needed it for a wedding party thing), but it was really gorgeous. The material is definitely different (almost neoprene-y) but flattering, with a vibrant purple color and beautiful lace detailing. It looked brand new and I felt very sexy. The high slit up the back definitely would have made me a little self conscious though (no toe-touches, if you catch my drift). I probably wouldn't rent it again for a wedding, but definitely for a night on the town.

Sparkly and pretty without overwhelming.

These went beautifully with a higher-necked plum lace sheath I wore to a wedding. They were just the right amount of size and sparkle without being a statement piece--they felt almost vintage. I even had my hair done to one side so I could show them off a little! I snagged them for $15 with my Mystery Bling order (ALWAYS a great deal, in my opinion), and they were well worth it.

Chic, sparkly and super comfortable.

I needed something with sequins for a bachelorette, and this dress was perfect--I felt stylish and sparkly without feeling like a disco ball. I'm on the bigger end, but this dress was really flattering and I was comfortable in it (lots of stretch)... I didn't even wear Spanx! The black is slimming, the sequins do some camouflaging, and I didn't realize from the picture, but there's some ruching in the front panel that does a nice job concealing trouble spots. I've had trouble with sequins being scratchy in the past, but this wasn't an issue either. Only two watch-outs... the straps were a little long for me and sit kind of wide so they can slip off your shoulders. Also, it's definitely longer than the model if you don't have a model body.

Not as nice as I expected.

These earrings were pretty, don't get me wrong, but they didn't quite have that va-va-voom look I expect from RTR. The crystals were muted and not very sparkly, and the gold was kind of dull too. They were also a little smaller than I was hoping for. They just looked like earrings I could have bought for $15 at any cheapy jewelry store and not an expensive splurge. Also, when they arrived, one of them was separated from the clasp... it was an easy fix, but that kind of added to my impression was that these just weren't designer-quality earrings. I say, if you're going to rent accessories, go for something a little more fabulous.

This clutch was perfect--fit all my wedding essentials and looked great with my dress.

The nude/gold color of this clutch makes it really versatile, and it was a lot roomier than I expected it to be--I stuffed it with a phone, makeup and cash and it all fit no problem. It also has a long gold chain strap to make it hands free, which was really convenient. Loved this clutch.

I didn't end up wearing this--it was my backup.

This dress was really cool, but just not for me. The fit was very specific--I couldn't fill out the bust and the straps sit off the shoulders. The back, while super pretty in the picture, did nothing for my figure because the wrap part in the back just hung there and completely flattened out my shape. The silvery stitching in the picture is actually more of a green-blue and the pattern is really intricate and pretty.

These were full-on show-stopper earrings. So sparkly and pretty!

These were megawatt bling and I was obsessed. They're big earrings and heavy and sparkly--they looked great as a standalone piece of jewelry with a solid-color dress. The only problem was that they're really heavy and the clip-ons started to give out on me later in the night after lots of dancing and kept falling off. (I had to stuff them in my bra during "Shout"--no joke.) They're not the most practical but I loved them anyway.

This dress fit like a glove and I got so many compliments. I felt like such a babe!

The fit was really flattering and sexy but still wedding appropriate. Great cleavage. The color was beautiful and complemented my light hair/eyes/skin and the lace was slimming and really on-trend. I wore my hair up to show off the pretty lace detail in the back (and the show-stopping Oscar de la Renta earrings RTR sent me as my mystery bling) and nude shoes with a gold detail. The clutch was also a mystery accessory that went perfectly with the whole look. There were a few cons, but no real deal-breakers. The back was really pretty but the lace was a little flimsy and didn't lay very flat. This maybe would not have been an issue if I had worn a smaller size? Also, the slip had a tendency to ride up... so if you're a dancing fiend like me, keep an eye on it. My Spanx were definitely showing on more than one occasion. Also, being that this is such a popular dress, it looked a little worn up close, but no real noticeable flaws unless you were really combing for them. I wore a strapless bra but probably could have gotten away with a regular one. I just stuck on some fashion tape to keep everything in its place. I also wore Spanx just to help smooth everything out, but again, they weren't 100% necessary.
