I’m between a size 6 and a size 8. I rented the Medium with the Large as back up. The Large fit best around my rib cage, but gaped significantly at the bust. I went with the Medium, but it squeezed my bust. Not uncomfortable, but I could have used a smidge more breathing room. It’s a great dress. It flares in the perfect spot so I didn’t spend the evening sucking in my tummy. I’d totally rent this again.

This fits true to size. I'm 5'6, and 185lbs. I wore the 14R. The 16R would require much larger chest size than my C's. I'll note that if you are much taller than 5'6, the regular may not fit, as the torso was just right for me. Be prepared not to be able to bend over, and sitting is a bit challenging due to the boning and length of the torso. But I got tons of complements all night!

Black tie affair chic look.
I’m 5’6, 184 lbs, and usually wear a 12/14. I have a large booty and after kids, a rounded midsection. The 14 was snug in the middle, and the 16 the bust and arms ran too big. I went with the 16 for a less restricted feel. Even thought the top was large, it was a beautiful and stunning dress.

I would not order this again. This was the backup dress because my original order was lost.
I ordered the 12 and 14W (side picture shows gap in the chest area). I am a regular size 14. The 12 fit great in the chest, but was too snug in the bodice. The 14W was too big in the chest, and still slightly snug in the bodice. Neither worked and I didn't wear it.
