This dress is even better in person; fabric quality is very high, so it lays nicely over curvy figures without the need for Spanx. I loved this dress but didn't end up wearing it, because despite the length guidance provided on the website, even with 5"+ heels, this dress is too long for someone on the lower end of the height guidance (5'2/ 5'3). Plus, it's super heavy so tends to drift lower the longer you wear it, and the skirt is so full that it would be hard to walk in if too long.

I rented this dress for a day of wine touring in Sonoma, and received tons of compliments on it. The color and pattern are even nicer in person, and the cut is quite flattering. Unlike many strapless day dresses, there was plenty of room for fuller busts in the top, and the dress is EXTREMELY comfortable given the stretchy nature of the fabric. The only downside is that it runs VERY large. I usually wear a 2, but ended up wearing the 0 in this, and it continued to slip down throughout the day, which was a bit annoying. Great dress if you have the ability to go a size down, but if you're already a 0 would pass as it will swallow you.

I didn't end up wearing this dress as it was my backup dress, but it was unobjectionable. As many reviewers have noted, the color is more beige than white, so it may not work on all skin tones without a tan. However, the primary reason I didn't wear it was that it runs quite large. The placement of the model's hands in this photo make it appear that the dress has pockets, but it doesn't . The "pooch" effect in the photo is the way the dress naturally lays, and wasn't particularly flattering live. Looks a bit "pregnant" on.

This was my backup dress, so I didn't end up wearing it, but the fit was very nice / true to size and the cut was quite flattering, I would think for most body types. However, the color is not as pictured - this dress is much more pinky beige than gold as described. As such, it didn't work with my skin tone, think you would need a pretty good tan to pull this one off.
