Loved this dress!
I wore this to a black tie optional wedding in December and felt so confident in it! I got lots of compliments and felt like it was just different enough to stand out in the crowd without being too different! I would wear this again in a heartbeat!

I wore this to a fraternity reunion function
I loved this dress--it's possibly my favorite RTR dress to date. It was comfortable and flattering and just different enough to stand out in the crowd without standing out in the crowd (if that makes sense). There were all ages at this party--70+ year olds to current college students and I felt as though my dress was appropriately fun yet respectful and age-appropriate for me. I wore a NuBra with it but could have probably gone bra-less. I also loved that I didn't have to wear special underwear or Spanx. I paired the dress with nude strappy heels and black earrings. Based on the reviews, I ordered the size 6 and 8, thinking that the 8 might be better (because many said that it ran small) but the 6 was better and I would've even liked to have tried a 4, just in case. Overall though, it was perfect. The service of RTR continues to impress me--I've never had so much as a "hiccup" in my orders and I recommend it to everyone who'll listen.

Just a date night at a nice restaurant
I read the other reviews and wore the medium slip with the small dress. That really made the dress fit much better. The dress was a little large in the neckline/shoulders/sleeves for me. I cuffed the sleeves a couple of times but felt like I was tugging at the neckline a lot, trying to get it adjusted so that it was laying flat. Other than that, I enjoyed the dress and felt very age-appropriate, classy and sexy. This is the perfect dress for a cocktail party or date night.

I wore this dress to a family wedding in Houston in October
The dress was true to size and very flattering. This was possibly my favorite RTR dress to date! Very comfortable and pretty. The color is a standout and the sleeve detail takes the dress to the next level.

Hot outdoor Texas wedding
As other reviewers said, the bodice doesn't have any give, so plan to size up. It's best for smaller-chested ladies too. I used fashion tape to keep my chest in check and it was invaluable. It kept my boobs from spilling out every time I bent over. I got tons of compliments on this dress. It was comfortable and unique.

Worn to an alumnus fraternity ball (semi-formal)
This was a great dress. I ordered both the 6 and the 4 and the 4 fit perfectly. I wore Spanx underneath (the stripes in the belly-area are very unforgiving) and a regular bra. I felt as though I was dressed age-appropriately--with a bit of an edge--in a room full of 20-something fraternity brothers and their equally-young dates. The dress was very comfortable and I enjoyed wearing it. I also rented the Kendra Scott cobalt blue earrings to match. They looked great but are HEAVY. They're bigger (and heavier) than the Kendra Scott's that I currently own. They were fine for the whole night, but my earlobes were very sore when I got home. I was happy that I only rented them for $10 instead of investing the retail price for them. This was my second RTR dress and I'm just as pleased the second time as I was the first. I already have my 3rd dress reserved (for an outdoor wedding in June)!

Worn to a Kentucky Derby-themed gala
I adore this dress! The color is so rich and vibrant--photos don't do it justice. My backup size (4) sold out before I could checkout so I was sent only the size 6. Luckily, the 6 fit well, but I would've liked to have been able to try the 4. As predicted by other reviewers, the only two small issues with this dress are that it wrinkles easily and the hanger straps pop out when wearing the dress. I used some fashion tape to tape the straps inside the dress, and that helped keep them in place all night. Also, invest in a NuBra to wear with this dress, since it's backless. The NuBra gave me the coverage that I needed and stayed put all night (and wasn't too terrible to remove after use). I'm sad to return this dress but excited to chose my next dress for the next event! I'm over-the-moon pleased with Rent The Runway and have been recommending it to everyone who'll listen.
