The top fit snug enough that it stayed up but wasn't constricting. The lining kept peeking out of the top, so I secured the lining to the inside of the bodice fabric with removable fashion tape and it worked perfectly. I'm 5'2" and wore 3.5" heels. As you can see in the solo pic, the dress was still too long, so I hemmed it using temporary fashion tape (final result in pic with my husband). This dress is high quality and elegant - it looked awesome with sapphire jewelry. I'd definitely rent it again! One note: I wore high-rise (to the underbust) light shapewear just to smooth myself out a bit, but it was really hard to pull the whole way up after using the bathroom because the bodice has light boning that makes it nearly impossible without unzipping. No big deal, though. Loved this dress!

I usually wear a 4, but wore the 6. The length was perfect and I'm 5'2". Wore a high-waist, light compression garment to smooth myself out a bit and for added warmth for an outdoor wedding. I don't have much of a defined waist, so the side-tie detail added some shape. Ate delicious food, danced my butt off for hours, and never felt restricted or uncomfortable! This dress is a winner and I'd wear it again. Dress was in perfect condition, and the fabric was good quality.

This was my backup dress. I'm 5'2" and with 4" heels it was perfect. The waist was a little snug, but since I'm short-waisted, it fit directly on my natural waist and not my ribcage. I'm a 32DD and the top fit perfectly, no bra needed. Tons of compliments and I felt great in it! Gorgeous fabric and the pockets were a plus.
