PROS: Rent this dress! This dress was absolutely gorgeous on, and I got nothing but compliments! I would absolutely rent it again, or even buy it (if it ever goes below $800). It's really pretty, and it's really comfortable. I wore it for my daughter's small wedding and reception, and it was perfect! CONS: Larger busted ladies beware! I am normally a size 10, sometimes 12 to accommodate the bust (DDD), but I after reading all the reviews I weighed my options carefully and rented the 14 and 16, and actually ended up wearing the size 16 in this dress. Both of them fit, but the 16 fit the bust better, and I was able to wear a demi bra with it and tie the sash a little tighter at the waist, so it didn't look loose at all. Note that the belted tie is attached/sewn across the back of the dress, so it doesn't come off and you can only adjust the front of it. Both of the sizes that I rented were the Long version because the Regular was not available; and I definitely would have preferred the Regular, even at 5'8". I wore heels, and I still nearly had to do a duct tape hem job on it so that it didn't drag. This dress is amazing, but it runs very small and very long - which is the only reason I only gave it 4 stars. It looks 5 stars gorgeous on, but you definitely have to pay attention to the sizing! Go up two sizes, and be prepared for extra length!

I wore this dress to a Yanni concert and it was perfect! So funny how it doesn't look like much on the hangar, but trust me, this dress was AWESOME! I'm a curvy girl, and this dress did nothing but compliment my curves. It looked good on, and it was very comfortable. The sleeves do feel a little bit snug at first, but they don't pull or feel tight once the dress is on. It is so cute! It fits like a glove, hugs all your curves perfectly, and is just the right length - not too short or too long. I teamed it up with a pair of silver bling heel sandals, and a simple evening bag. Just be sure to wear a STRAPLESS bra - this is not the kind of dress you want to see bra straps with! I got tons of compliments on my cute little dress all night, and since we had front row seats at the concert people treated me like a celebrity! It was absolutely fabulous - so glad I rented it!

This dress was so pretty! The color is vibrant, perfect for a summer event, and the fit is really comfortable! I normally wear a size 12 or even 14 in designer dresses and evening wear, due to being large busted (36DD) - but since I'm smaller through the stomach and hips (I wear a 10 or 8 in pants) I'm usually swimming in the lower half of the dress. But not in this one! I ordered both the 14 and 12 in this dress, and the 12 fit perfectly! It fit my bust, was fitted nicely to my waist, then flared just enough but not like a circus tent in the hips. I celebrated my 14th Anniversary with my husband at a dinner and jazz concert, and this was the perfect dress for the event. I got tons of compliments all night! And the best part was that it was COMFORTABLE! I put it on and felt GREAT all night long! I paired it up with a simple pair of gold wedge heel sandals, and it was perfect! Since I ordered the LONG length I had a little bit of a "train" hitting the ground, but not enough to be a bother. I'm 5'8" and with the heels it was still touching the ground though, so I probably could have gotten away with the Regular 12. This was a really fun dress to wear, and I'm already hating having to ship it back!

This dress is so cute! I wore it to a summer wedding, and got tons of compliments! It fit really well, although the top was a little "off". I noticed that it had been tacked down - not originally made that way. Because I have a large chest (36DD) the tacking looked - well, tacky - and eventually pulled apart. The dress looked better after the tacking came undone, with the exception that it showed my bra! Fortunately I wore a sweater so I could cover it until I could sneak away to the ladies room...and I always carry safety pins and a sewing kit in my purse, so I was able to pin the top back together so that it covered my bra. It actually looked BETTER when I pinned it than when it was sewed (it was obviously sewn together for a smaller chested woman). At any rate, as cute as it is, the top DEFINITELY needs help! You either need to pin it or sew it together in order to wear this dress - I don't see it being worn any other way unless you want to put the girls on display! Nonetheless, the fabric is gorgeous, the color is stunning, and it really is a pretty dress. It just needs a lot of help on the top! Oh, and the bra stays on the straps need to be repaired as well - one was hanging by two threads, and the other wasn't even there - useless, and actually a really helpful component of this dress! I recommend this dress for anyone who has confidence, and who knows how to "work" a low-cut dress!

This gown is really pretty on, fits true to size, and is very figure flattering. The shoulder wrap part does like to move, even though RTR put little velcro dots on, it to help keep it tacked down - but at least they help keep it somewhat in place. The gown has some stretch to it, so it is easy to fit into, even if you are a little larger in the hip or (like me) the bust area. The ruching makes it really look good on any woman. My husband said the gown looked really good on, however, I ended up wearing the other of the two gowns that I rented, because it had the more "glitz and glam" look of Vegas that I was wanting. This dress is definitely for a more quiet, refined, elegant, sophisticated type of event. It is very complimentary to curvy figures, and would be perfect for a formal dinner or a night at the theatre. Just not Vegas!

This gown was great for Las Vegas, especially with all the sparkle. It did it's job of camouflaging the cast on my left leg, which was why I wanted a long gown. It wasn't my favorite, however. It's pretty, for sure. But the fit runs large, and the regular length runs short. I tried on the alternate size 12R and it didn't even touch the floor in my 3.5 inch heels. The 10L was definitely better fitting, and the length was better - but almost TOO long. This one is a hard call because I believe the 12R was probably rented more than the 10L had been. The 12 looked less sparkly and seemed somewhat stretched out. I wore the 10 and it looked ok, but I probably would NOT rent this one again. I do have to just add though that if you are curvy and especially if you are large chested, this one is a good style for your body type. I'm a 36DD (sometimes triple D) and it fit the top like a charm; the girls looked great, and no chance of a wardrobe malfunction happening.

I actually wore a very similar black lace over nude gown to my Gala, however, I wanted to rate this one as well since I rented it also - and it actually was my FIRST choice when I was choosing! That's how good all of these gowns are - I had a very difficult time choosing which ONE to wear to my event! Although I didn't wear this one to my event, I have to say that this gown is AMAZING. This gown is a perfect combination of sexy, sophisticated, and also very comfortable. It looks perfect on a curvy figure, and gives you the look of vintage romance. You will not be disappointed with this one. It is a WINNER!

I actually wore the "sister" to this dress - the black lace over nude version, in size 12L - to my Gala, however, I wanted to rate this one as well since I rented it also. This color, Navy, is beautiful, and the gown itself is a perfect combination of sexy, sophisticated, and completely COMFORTABLE. I am curvy and full busted and this gown fit me like it was MADE for me! I tend to order dresses a size larger to accommodate my large bust, but this one just fit perfectly with no worries! The back is totally open which adds a little element of sexy to the gown - but it was also something that I was a little concerned about because I was afraid at my age (51) to go without a bra. I call my ample 38DD girls my 38 LONGS - so braless is not usually a good thing on me. But when I tried the gown on I could tell that I could wear it braless without worry. The way the gown is designed and lined holds you in (and up) quite nicely. I would also definitely recommend wearing the LONG version of this if you are 5ft 7in or taller. I broke my leg and am in a walking cast, so I tried to match the heel on my other foot as closely as I could - thus the height was fairly low, and even so the Long still fit perfectly in the length. Since I was traveling across country for the Gala I had the gowns shipped directly to my hotel to avoid having to rent extra days and pack and haul them. They were waiting for me at my hotel, no problem! What a convenience for me to not have to worry about packing formal gowns in a suitcase! I do have to add though that if I HAD been home and had the extra time and ability I probably would have bought and worn one of those stick on bras just because that's me, but it was really just fine without. The entire experience was perfect, and this gown was truly the shining star of the Gala. Would I rent this one again? Absolutely!
