The L was definitely snug, I might have been more comfortable in the XL (I'm a 10 but I was a little chonky over the holidays when I wore it). I didn't wear a bra, I just put some pasties on to protect my nips. The sleeves might have been warm but the party was in an outdoor tent that had plastic enclosure sheeting but no head so I was comfy while other women were freezing. I felt awesome in this dress!

The color is beautiful. I was able to wear a normal strapless bra. I am 5'8" and wore 3 inch heels and the lenght was perfect. Would definitely wear again or recommend.

The material shows everything - I would have had to go commando. The straps continue to beg to be pulled down. I would have been able to wear this with my Misses Kisses bra (large chested ladies you MUST check it out) but I would have needed fashion tape from the middle of my breast to my shoulder. Beautiful dress thought, the draping is flattering and lovely.

I was so glad I was able to try the dress on in person at the showroom before renting. It's something I would have never picked for myself. The dress is simply stunning! I wore it for NYE. The back V is deep enough to show skin but you can definitely wear a regular bra with it. The ruching of the fabric in the front is so flattering and beautiful. Great color, great length, great!!! I am a size 12 normally and I ended up wearing the XL (even though it's recommended for a 14-16). So busty ladies, maybe size up for the backup size. But so beautiful!!!

I'm a hip-y, curvy girl. The 12 was snug, and didn't allow for any wiggle room. Although with spanx, it made it comfort because the fabric could slip and slide. The colors were beautiful! I did need to pin the top together, otherwise the girls would have spilled out! The stomach had a great fit, the only tightness was at the sides. What a great dress!

The tint was barely noticeable, but a nice product.

I rented this dress to play a piano concerto with my college orchestra. The dress was perfect for the event! The size and fit chart suggested that I should wear a size 12L. Because I was going to be sitting down, I (for whatever reason) deduced to order a 12R and 10L. The 10L fit, but the 12L would have been perfect. Oh well! What a stunner!!! Everyone complimented me about my dress, and I couldn't have asked for a better renting experience.

This dress was awesome! I normally wear a 12, and the 12 fit, but it wasn't tight enough to stay up for a night of dancing! With a padded bra, the 10 fit nicely. The waist has an elastic band that clips separately to help the dress stay up, but it didn't stop the front boning from digging into my stomach when I sat down. The model's picture captures the color PERFECTLY, but it definitely doesn't do the pattern justice. I usually don't like pink dresses (I wore one because the theme was Candyland) and the texture/pattern of the dress gave it a fresh feel. The ruching in the bodice is just enough to add drama, but not to take away from the material. Overall, great dress! The fit is super cute, and I would definitely rent again (though maybe in a different color :D )!

I rented this dress for my BF's fraternity party. I got so many compliments! This was my first RTR rental and I was really pleased with it. I was actually deciding between the "Cool Carley" (same designer, color, just with a v-neck instead of the scoop) and I'm glad I got this one! When I first got the dress, I noticed that the color was a little more of a brownish gold than a bright gold that I imagined with the picture, so the "mocha" color description is spot on. The fabric is stretchy and forgiving. I usually wear a 12 and ordered a 12 and a 14 but I never put the 12 on because the 14 was perfect. The padding in the bust would have been great if I was smaller chested, but I'm not so it didn't do much. It didn't really extend long enough so it just sat on top of my chest. But overall the dress was great. Because of the tight fit I was expecting it to ride up all night but it didn't, partly because it is slightly longer than a minidress. If you have any sort of hips (like I do), YOU WANT SPANX. Makes everything ten times better. Overall, it had a few minor details that I would have liked changed, but it was a great dress overall with a great rental experience!
