At first I didn’t love this but once I started to dress it up with some cute heels, eccentric earrings and a blazer the outfit really came together. The fabric is really nice and the pockets were a bonus! The elastic band is forgiving after eating too many party snacks, so that’s another perk. My only complaint was how big it was! I wore an XS and am 5’6” and weigh 125 lbs and the top part was still swimming on me. I joked that I looked like I was a man cause it made me look like I had no chest (I’m a B cup for reference). But luckily the straps were adjustable so I tightened it as far as it could go.

I wore this dress to my bridal shower this labor day weekend. The dress was perfect for my tea themed event as I was told that many times by my guests! As other reviewers have said, this dress does have a Marilyn Monroe feel to it, but in a sensual and tasteful way. Plus, it has POCKETS! Which was perfect for storing my lipstick. Highly recommended :)
