The photos do not do this dress justice. Based on the relatively low price point, I thought this would be more of an everyday dress. Nope - it's beautiful and perfect for special occasions. The inside fabric is thick and silky, and the velvet on top is soft and luxurious. The material was stretchy enough to fit over my wide hips, and the ruching made it extremely flattering. I would love to rent this again!

The fabric of this dress looks more luxe in photos than it does in person, which disappointed me given the price. The pattern kind of reminded me of a grandma's couch. I have wide hips and while it fit, there really was no stretch which made it hard to sit or bend down. I didn't find it flattering on my short, pear-shaped frame, so I ended up wearing a backup dress.

I always struggle finding a dress that fits my proportions - smaller on top with wide hips. This dress had enough stretch that I was comfortable in the 36, which fit my chest and shoulders better than the 38. The slit was more revealing than I expected while walking or sitting, so undergarments are a must. Was the perfect length with just a slight heel. Really beautiful fabric and unique color, got tons of compliments and would rent again in a heartbeat!
