Bunchy
So cute in the photos, but the smocking just doesn't lay flat. Taking even a step or two would cause it to bunch up here and there so I was constantly having to pull it down and smooth it all out. I didn't end up wearing the dress because I knew that was going to drive me crazy- I hate having to adjust my dress all night long and this would definitely be one of those dresses. The smocking has a lot of give to it and the whole body is made up ot it, so there wasn't any way to make it taut enough I guess.

Chest is waaaaay tooo small
This was the perfect fit and I was so excited....until I tried to zip up the chest. Absolutely no way to make it work. I finally pulled it down and zipped up the way at my waist and then yanked it up over my chest, but the boob spillage was laughable. The top proportions are so far off from the body's that the designer seems to have forgotten that women actually have breasts. The built in cups will accommodate an A cup at best, and just sizing up in the dress will lose the fit of the body. Very disappointed because the body of the dress fit me like a glove.

I am not even 5’4, 130 lbs, pretty toned but not excessively muscular, and I couldn’t get my arms into the sleeves. At all. And even if I could, the dress was so short it would have been indecent. I can’t imagine anyone taller than me wearing this!

Glad I got a backup size 4- my usual 6 was too roomy. That being said, the smaller size was perfect everywhere except the bust- so I was definitely worried about bending over in the dress! Chic and loved the pockets! Perfect for a black tie wedding.
