Bought it! So fun
It's a nice, thick material that's not itchy. I wore it with and without tights. I think this runs a little large- a size down would've been more fitted around the waist. I didn't mind the boxy look and used a belt when I wanted more shape.

Even with a sweater underneath, the coat was way too big- shoulder seam was a few inches off. Super warm and too much for the weather during the rental period.

Size down, unique design
I plan on buying them when the price goes down a bit! Beautiful construction, hardware and strap across are unique touches. There's a button snap under each bit. Material is beautiful. A size down would've had the waist at the right spot.

Fun! Great pattern
Wore as a jacket and also under a coat. Got lots of compliments with it on! As others have said, it is SUPER cropped. I have a small bust and it still hit a few inches above the waist.

Loved, so comfy
Considered buying this one! The material is thick, warm, not itchy. The shoulders are very dramatic and then it tapers down to the waist. Mock neck was great and not restrictive. My only issue was the sleeves- they were too long and almost to my nails. For a rental, I was fine with pushing the sleeves up but if I were to buy it, I'd size down.

Tried to like it but not for IBTC
The good: a nice thick material & great color. The bad: a lot of different things. I couldn't tell if it was too large or just not for my body, but the way it draped in the front was unflattering. Maybe with a bigger chest, the sides would fold smoothly? It was also too thick for me to tuck into high-waisted pants and not do a weird fold over the waist. Flipped it around and the same draping issues still happened. Never wore it beyond trying it on.

Loved it but shows wrinkles
It shows all the wrinkles and did not do well in the suitcase- I had to iron it. The photo is when I first got the RTR shipment. But once ironed and on, I really loved the wide leg, color, thick but breathable fabric, hem at the ankle, deep pockets, and high waist. I would buy it if it didn't show wrinkles so easily—but I'm considering it in a different pattern! It's very versatile and fits both a work environment and a casual one.

Weird fit in shoulders—didn't wear
This is my color and I really liked the shoulder detail. But once it was on, I couldn't figure out how to tie like in the photos and even tying it in the front felt a little constricting in the shoulders. Ultimately, didn't wear it.

Wasn't that great
I tried to make it work. It had all the elements that I like—high waist, paper bag, ankle hem—but it wasn't that great for me. The amount of fabric between the belt tie and the waist was too much. It had a ruffle effect. I brought it on a trip and had some travel bloat and the pants were not forgiving. I'm also not sure if a larger size would've helped or been too big.

Liked it more than I expected!
This was a risk for me—I'm not a pink or pastel person, nor did I see the skirt tiers in the photos (also not a tier person). But DVF knows how to fit a dress and I got so many compliments on it! It fit perfectly with some room to breathe and did well in the suitcase.

IN LOVE, hot—rent it!
Wore for an outdoor October wedding in Vegas with the dress code of whatever makes you feel hot. It was perfect for the weather and the balance of long mesh sleeves and short hem was perfect. I was worried it wouldn't work for my small bust, but it did! I used Nippies covers and quite a few half strips of Vapon Topstick toupee tape on my chest and the front shoulders to keep the hem from folding back. The tape worked well between my skin and fabric the whole night & didn't damage the dress! You will get a boatload of compliments, too!

I would buy it if I could! I wore it to a trade show and paired it with high-waisted pants. As other reviews have noted, it is pretty cropped but I was able to tuck it into pants. If you have a small bust, the crop isn't as short. The material is sturdy and holds its boxy shape when untucked.

Gorgeous, sexy, flattering cut out
It photographs really well from the front. The material is thick but not that flattering if it's a tighter fit on you. Where the cutouts are, you can't wear a bra or shapewear, so pasties did work. The thong did not and showed through when I walked. If you're in between sizes, I would go for the larger size so it can drape better. As others have mentioned, i did have to adjust the front seam a few times because of my smaller bust.

Fun dress!
Rented as a wedding guest dress option but ended up not wearing it, it was a little too casual for the wedding. The colors are bright and fun. Loved the sleeves and how they could be worn both down and up.

Beautiful material but size up
Rented it as an option for a wedding. The material is thick, stiff, and great quality and the dress is heavy. It's also more structured than I expected. I sized up and it looks great in the photo, but there wasn't any room in the waist. I couldn't breathe normally, let alone sit down. The way the sleeves are structured, I couldn't move my hands from my sides more than a foot or so—maybe that would be different if I went up another size.

Loved the hi-low and print!
I loved this dress. The waist is flattering, the material and print are gorgeous, and there are pockets! The bust was a perfect fit with a strapless bra or pasties (what I ended up doing)—can't always find that for those of us with smaller busts. It also packed well and it withstood 85°F weather! Would absolutely rent again or buy.
