Perfect dress--got so many compliments! Hugged torso and waist, but balloons at the hips, so it is flattering, elegant, and fun all at once--ideal for an artsy event. (You can't quite see it in this photo, but I wore a teal and green feather fascinator!). The length was just at/below the knee; I wore a tall Chie Mihara heel, carried a vintage black silk purse, and wore teal earrings & ring. The dress has a fairly deep V in front and back; this is more cleavage than I usually show, but it seemed right for the look. Again, ideal for that kind-of-but-not-quite-formal event; this is also a dress that could be worn in almost any season (pair with black stockings and heels in the fall, say). I bought this dress on clearance, and it was a steal. Halston for $38?? Thank you, renttherunway! My first experience, and definitely not my last.
