Couldn't wear- too big!
Even though I sized down to a small (I usually wear medium), the shirt gaped in the shoulders/bust and was unwearable for me.

I usually get a size medium, but the large was still too tight on my size 8 (6-10 depending on designer) thick-waisted body. I'm 5'6" and 148 right now, 34D. Size way up!

This dress looked cool & modern on the model, but on my 5'6" 148-lb body it was unwearable- the hips were tight and the chest/bust was way too big (and I am a 34D).

Cute, a bit busy with the flutter sleeves
Wore this dress for work. It's a nice dress but I don't think I'd buy it or rent again; a bit too much fabric in the flutter sleeves for my personal style preference.

Too tight in the bust
I wear a 34D so surprised that I was unable to wear this dress in a medium due to the bust fabric pulling. See photo. Otherwise super cute.

Not that flattering on me
Fit fine and appreciated the defined waist. Probably should've worn it with a belt, but the dress came with a black liner slip that was super hot and it felt like it didn't breathe, and the belt make me feel hotter in our 95 degree July heat, so I ended up leaving it off. It was fine enough to wear to work but I wouldn't rent again.

High slit on anterior thigh makes it too revealing for work
The slits all the way up the anterior thigh made in inappropriate for work, which is what I rented it for, and the weirdly-fitting bodice was not at all flattering on my particular figure. Unable to wear, went straight back in the bag to return. Do not recommend.

Smashed bust!
great color, knee length (I'm 5'6"), light/soft fabric... but this dress smashed my boobs so had to return it. I wear a 36D so was surprised at how tight it was considering it's not a fitted bodice (I took the photo to show the smashitude).

Lauren Merkin Eve clutch was perfect color and style for my dress -- I knew I wanted to wear my own Kate Spade statement earrings so didn't want earrings or a necklace -- eliminated all options except for handbags, and it worked out beautifully. Nice work, RTR!

Great for curvy women! Hides imperfections!
Received this dress as an emergency substitution for a totally different dress that was no longer available. It had been on my favorites list, and there's nothing like a red dress for your 40th birthday! Thick, stretchy fabric with ruching on the back of the dress in addition to the front hid all of my bumpy imperfections, and I was able to wear it with a normal pair of underwear and normal bra (no shapewear) without any lines visible. The sleeves were a touch tight but I have big arms. I'm 5'6" and the dress actually came down to just BELOW the knee (which looked amazing with open-toe black patent pumps); smaller sizes might be shorter. The slit at the left side didn't show, but was quite functional (allowing me to sit without discomfort). And a stranger grabbed me on my way to the restroom to compliment my dress. A definite winner! FYI, the earrings are Kate Spade (my own, but almost exact ones are available here on RTR) and the clutch is Lauren Merkin (my mystery bling, which was perfect).

Perfect size
My iPhone, lip gloss, ID and credit cards fit inside perfectly. No inside pockets to help organize, but that's OK. It's is a pale gold, definitely not silver or silver-gold as others have said. FYI the earrings are Kate Spade (my own - slightly different than the Kate Spade earrings available for rent here on RTR because mine are clear-turquiose while the RTR earrings are more milky/opaque-turquoise) and the dress is the Moschino "Found Guilty" dress.

Meh. Shows imperfections; a bit boxy.
I am 5'6" and have a large bust and am thick-waisted, 40-35-40. The size 12 was way too big in the shoulders/sleeves (they were so long that they came halfway over my hands!) and the size 10 was still almost too long in the sleeve. The 10 fit better (that's the size I have on in the photo), but the fabric was thin enough that my lumpy imperfections were too visible under the fabric (I would've had to wear shapewear underneath). That along with the boxy no-waisted look made me choose not to wear this dress. (I do better with ruching or a belt or something that creates more of a fitted waist appearance - this just made me look thick.)

Cheap-looking mesh
This dress looked so beautiful in the photos that I was really excited to try it on, but in reality the mesh material looks a little cheap to me (kind of like tulle on a tutu). Also, the color was a deeper red than the blood red that my computer monitor shows -- approaching burgundy. So overall it was not as nice as I expected. The size 10 was a bit too tight for my 40-35-40 body (zippable, but obviously tight) and it came a few inches above my knees (I'm 5'6"), so I would've needed a 12.

Runs very small in the chest!
I am 40-35-40 and the 12R was so tight in the ribcage/bust that I couldn't even zip it up all the way, so sadly, I couldn't wear it. But it was fine in the waist and hips. Consider sizing up to 2 sizes up. I am 5'6" and the regular length was floor-length with heels. What a gorgeous dress -- rather goddess-like -- would've loved to wear it!

Short... can be dressed down & worn as a tunic!
After seeing in other reviews that this dress is quite short, I realized I could dress it down for a more casual New Year's Eve event by wearing it over leggings and boots, belting it, and wearing a cashmere cardigan over it to help balance out the black legs. The 10 fit a bit more snuggly and thus worked better as a tunic top for me (the 12 had a fuller-looking skirt that made it look more like a dress on me). Other reviews were spot-on about the straps being too long (which was fine for me since the slack was hidden under my sweater, but might be a problem for others!). The clear-colored sequins are sparkly but more subtle than metallic sequins. Also, I agree that the color was more beige than the gold color depicted in the model photo. Overall, I loved the dress -- it was perfect to give me a little NYE sparkle and remain casual enough for the event I attended.
