I loved the way this gown allowed me to move freely without feeling constricted. The material was light and kept me cool during a busy night of mingling and dancing. The top portion of the dress fit snuggly and left little wiggle room in the chest area. I'm a small chested woman, but still couldn't wear a strapless bra because it was too difficult to zip the zipper. Despite the absence of a bra, I still felt modest. The slit in the skirt is fun :) It is higher though and didn't allow me to wear SPANX. I had to order a 4L because a 4R was unavailable. It was long of course, but with 3.5-4 inch heels, it wasn't much of an issue. I had to hold up the dress when ascending and descending stairs, but I think I would have done that regardless of the dress's length. I wear 4-6 in everyday clothes, but found the 4 to be the best fit. The 6 was too big in the skirt and looked too wrinkled and baggy up top. The dress worked well with the ELLA CARTER Corey Bracelet and a simple pair of gold strap high heels. I highly recommend this dress for your next event. It's pretty tough to not look and feel like a goddess in it :)

I rented this dress and used the HALSTON HERITAGE Forever Mine Gown as my backup. I was unable to wear the BADGLEY MISCHKA Award Winner Gown because it was too short. I tried a 4R and a 6R, but still found the gown's length in the front to be too short. My shoes were sticking out in the front, but were covered in the back (I tried 3 inch, 2 inch, and kitten heels). I was unable to try the gown in a Long, but suspect that would have solved my problem. Length issues aside, the gown was perfect. The shape was very flattering as was the stretchy material. I purchased SPANX to wear underneath as well as sticky covers for my chest. The sequins are fastened securely and did not fall off. I didn't find the dress too heavy either. RTR was awesome when I received my 4R and 6R Award Winner gowns and found them to be too short. They sent me two sizes of the HALSTON HERITAGE Forever Mine Gown. I was able to wear one of those gowns and felt like a princess at my event. RTR exhibited excellent customer service and earned my business for future events! Can't thank them enough :)
