A cardigan I liked

A Classic Fave
I love every iteration of these pants that Maje has released. I think last year they were navy w red track stripes. I loved the chocolate brown color that is trending with the younger crowd (of which I am not). I felt like I could pull it off while still dressing age appropriately. Paired w the Z/V brown camo sweater.

Perfect Jacket
Kept this jacket for several cycles bc of how frigid this winter has been in my state. received endless compliments. Very warm - like I often had to take it off while driving. I did not use it for skiing at all but there is a cute cloth sewn into the lining that appears to be for wiping off your goggles!

Finally not a cardigan
I felt like there were very few pullover sweater options this winter - I have never seen so many variations of cardigans in my life. Loved this sweater- a tad itchy for me but ok w a tee underneath. I paired w the Maje track pants in chocolate brown.

Great pants, they were slightly tight across my hips but that is where I carry the majority of my weight. Comfortable and worked with a variety of tops.

Got compliments
The fit was a little boxy for my taste but my husband gave me unprompted compliments. It's a nice warm sweater. I really like Phillip Lim as a designer, and I'll definitely be snagging some items on sale now that he is leaving his namesake brand. This one however will probably be just a one time rental for me.

No seriously, they run big.
The pants themselves are adorable. I am thin but not that thin. The 26 sits at my hips and not at my waist which makes the crotch area baggy and the length slightly too long to wear with flats on a rainy day. I am exchanging for a smaller size bc they are a fun alternative to jeans!

Fun change of pace
These were fun jeans. I am usually a 27 in pants that sit lower on the waist to accommodate for my hips/butt, but these were slightly too big to the point where they sagged and did not look polished. I'm actually swapping for a 26 w my next shipment.

Shrinkage?
I feel like someone put this in the washing machine. I’m 5’8 on a good day so not THAT tall but the dress hits just below my knees. On the flip side I don’t have the giant gaping armpit holes others have mentioned either! It’s still cute and I like the dress but I will try again when the Small is available to see if I can get more of a maxi look and also so I can walk along without squeezing my core all day.

Love a good long pant
I am aware that shorter inseams are having a moment, but I prefer full leg coverage in the dead of winter. Great pants but I need to size down. Made them work w my tallest boots, a belt, and me engaging my core so they would stay up. Abs workout done for today at least. Would rent again in a smaller size.

I ignored the warnings of ordering at least 2 sizes down, thinking, “Hey, I have a backside, maybe I can get away with one size smaller.” Nope. When standing still the pants are sitting lower than the Christina/Britney era circa 2000. When I walk they fall down. I did wear them around the house as a replacement for my oversized sweatpants. Keeping them favorited in hopes of getting an even smaller size - fingers crossed because I do think they are so cool!
