Fabulous dress!
The fabric in this dress has a little stretch to it which makes it fit really nicely. I got tons of compliments. The opaque bands did not show through very much as the setting was not brightly lit, but they added structure and interest to the skirt. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat!

It was a good, low-key classic dress
The material was a nice heavy weight with more spandex than I expected. I could have made the 10 work, but wasn't in the mood to worry about spanx.

The earrings were unremarkable from the back, so they did not get a lot of attention.
Other reviews mentioned that the back of these earrings was black crochet and that they turned around, but I didn't pay attention. Basically, I wore a pair of black crochet earrings. In pictures, unless I specifically remembered to put my hand up and turn the earrings around, you can't see the (very pretty) front at all. It did not ruin my evening, but it was not what I had pictured.

I wanted something special but not too revealing and this dress was perfect.
I wore it to a formal wedding and got compliments all night long. For busty gals, be careful with the bodice - it could be an issue. It worked out snugly for me, but fine. The fabric was a nice weight, heavy enough to be substantial, but not too heavy to move. For those with bubble butts, the back pleats accentuate that - I wasn't happy about it at first, but got more comfortable. It was a great dress and I'd wear it again.

I got compliments all night long on this dress. The color is more vibrant than you see on line.
In order to get the dress to fit my butt I had a size 12 which is too large for me so it did not "hug in at the waist like in the picture. However, wearing it felt wonderful. The skirt is nice and full without being too "ballgown-y."
